I told you we'd see each other again

Christy couldn't help but laugh at that, "Well I'm also a very independant person Emil." she replied, "Besides sometimes it can be good to let the girl pay for things once in a while...that way she won't completely break you." She looked at him eating on the candy and smiled. She wasn't in the mood for sweets right that second. She actually would rather just talk to him or spend time with him in general.

"You'll be lucky to survive around my house then." she said talking about blood. "Almost always one of us, me or Delk is getting hurt." She stopped for a minute, her eyes glazing over and she looked like she was barely breathing at all, if she even was at all. It was almost an eerie expressionless look on her face as she began to get a vision. She came out of it gasping for breath. "We don't want to hang around here too much longer." she said in a suddenly serious tone of voice.

"Oh...I'm sorry, I guess I'm screwing up again. Like I always do, I always screw up. I've been taught all the wrong ways of attracting people by my father. I believed he knew what he was doing, but really he doesn't", Emil said. He had been taught wrongful information, numerous times he'd been told the wrong thing by his most trusted friends and family, simply because they could.

"Christy? CHRISTY!" Emil was worried. The woman appeared to be in a state of possession, perhaps slowly dying or succumbing to some evil presence. He felt sick to his stomach. 'We don't want to hang around here too much longer'. What was that supposed to mean? Why? Why were they in danger? He didn't get it.

"Why, are we in danger?"

"I"m sorry what?" she asked looking at him now that she was fully out of her vision now. She couldn't help it at times and she knew it wasn't best if they stayed was just putting it lightly. "Demons." she said knowing and hoping that that would be all she would have to say. "Lets go to my house." she went on to say wanting to get the two out of there before anything happened that might hurt Emil more so than herself. She was ministry and even in her own country she had heard about the dealings with Demons. She didn't want to find out for herself exactly how they fought or attacked.

Demons? In Hogsmeade? This was getting way too weird for Emil. He thought this was going to be a nice, peaceful day without interruption. He'd thought this would be the day to catch up to Christy, and perhaps even get closer than he was.

"Let's get out of here then, I don't want any bloodshed or anything like that. I only wanted a peaceful day with you, Christy, and that was it". Emil seemed very anxious to go, he didn't want to stick around to experience the wrath of the vile creatures.

"Ok then my house it is." she said as she pulled out her wand and grabbed hold of him and apparated them to her house. She wouldn't have their plans ruined by anyway, plus she figured this would be the perfect chance for him to meet Cristina. He had yet to meet Christy's adopted daughter and they had some stuff for her. Christy had some things in her room for her too that she just hadn't had time to give her.

They apparated up into Christy's room and immediately a little girl with long black hair and pale skin with vibrant green eyes walked into the room, her face lit up with a smile, "Christy!" the little girl exclaimed as she ran over to Christy and hugged her leg.

"Emil." she said looking at him as Cristina began to hide behind her leg noticing someone she didn't know. "This is Cristina."

"So, this is the beautiful little one that you keep telling me about?" Emil said, smiling. He reached in and grabbed a piece of candy from the bag. He offered it to Cristina. "I'm Emil, Christy's new love. Perhaps even your future adoptive father with any luck", he couldn't believe he said that, but it needed to be said. "I'm sure that one day, we'll all be a happy family, the three of us".

He spilled the candy upon a large table, spreading it around with his hands. There were all sorts of candies to choose from, all very delicious and sweet. He'd been in the mood to eat some all day, but refused to take any before anyone else did since they might want the last of something and he might've been eating that last piece.

Cristina looked a little confused at what Emil was saying, even though she was an extremely intelligent three year old. But she had taken the candy and smiled before hiding behind Christy once again.

"I'm sorry Emil." Christy said with a smile as she picked up Cristina who was eating the sucker that was given to her. "She's extremely shy." She had smiled at hearing Emil say what he did and she blushed a little. She couldn't believe that he had said what he had either. And she had also been hoping that she would get at least a little bit of alone time with him.

Cristina looked at all the candy wide eyed, "That all for me?" she asked looking at Christy who had to laugh at her. She was so cute and innocent that it was just adorable.

"No sweetheart." she said smiling, "But some of it is. I got all of your favorites but you have to listen to Oma while I'm not here ok?" Cristina nodded and moved around wanting to get down and Christy gladly complied to her as the little girl hurried out of the room. She looked over at Emil. "Well...what do you think? I'll understand if you don't want to be around me because of her."

Emil smiled, "I love her already though, you don't need to apologize for her shyness. I was just like that when I was little. She reminds me of me". He stifled a giggle, he said something so funny that he himself could not contain the jovial tinkling laughter.

"Oma? Who's Oma?" Emil asked, he was a bit of a clueless man. However, there was an advantage to being clueless; he wouldn't assume something and get himself into trouble. He patted Christy on the back, "I'd never leave you over a kid. She's an adorable child, more so than most children I've met".

Emil reached into his pocket and took out a flask that contained approximately a fluid dram of amber liquid. He opened it and pressed his finger to the top, tipping it so that a little drop of liquid was upon his finger. He rubbed it on his gums near the teeth where there appeared to be a small gash.

(Sorry I forgot to put the translation up. Oma is short for Grandmother in german..it sounds much cuter than saying großmutter XD)

"She's hard not to love at first sight though." she replied smiling as she watched the little girl disappear, probably down the hall to the playroom to be with Abbey and Christy's younger sister. They weren't all that close in age, in fact, Abbey's little sister would be starting school next year but they got along fine and the girl was nice to Cristina.

"Meine Mutter, silly." she said answering his question. "Its short for grandmother. Your mother never taught you that?" she asked curiously, "Or did you just call your grandmother something else?" She frowned slightly as he patted her on the back, like they were friends when they were more. She didn't know if that was him saying good job or what and she wasn't sure how to take it since no one had ever really done that to her before.

"Are you ok?" she asked looking at him as she noticed him rubbing some sort of liquid on his gum. "Did you do something to hurt yourself?"

"She's still adorable though, and she's a great daughter", Emil said. "I look forward to helping you take care of your little'uns". He laughed, "We called her by a Bulgarian word. We don't use German in the family, just at school". He seemed concerned when she frowned after he patted her on the back. He wrapped his arms around her and gave her a huge kiss after applying the amber liquid.

"The amber liquid is an antibiotic. I recently had muggle-performed surgery on my gums, and a wizard doctor gave me a prescription antibiotic and pain medication. A couple of my teeth were growing funny so I had to have them anchored to my gums somehow".
