Peter turned to Adam and answered his question, saying, "Of course I brought my broom, I do not go anywhere without eet. Plus, I'm sure they will think they can beat us in Quidditch and eet will be our job to prove them wrong!" He chuckled. He was not the best nor the most competitive Quidditch player, but he still loved the game and would always fake an overactive competitive spirit for the fun of the game.
He sat back in his chair and followed the thread of conversation, frowning deeper and deeper as he heard his classmates comment on their motivations for winning the competition, or doubts on even being able to do so. In all honesty, he did not think he was any more worthy than anyone else here, but if he was chosen he would do his best and he believed he could make his school proud. He wanted to win for the pride it would bring his school and his family, the adventures the tasks would bring...
He piped up, "I theenk whoever iz picked from our school will make everyone here and back home very proud." He nodded, a smile falling onto his features naturally, almost a nervous habit. "And they will do eet because they want to their best, and for that reason alone, we will succeed in what we put efforts into." He grinned happily, innocently unaware of how greed could easily make the competition less pure than he thought it was destined to be.
