Chase felt her anger drain out of her face almost as quickly as the redness turned pale as he turned around and walked away. He had given up, just like that, he was gone, and she stood there, watching his back as he walked away. She felt her hands start shaking, and she fell to her knees in the grass. Feeling a shard of glass wedge itself into her leg. "Ouch.." she whispered and sat back on the grass. "Repairo.." She whispered waving her wand, the shard flew out of her leg and rejoined the newly repaired jar.
Chase stared after him and felt her heart sinking. She couldn't go after him, he had made up his mind, and she respected that, at least she wasn't forced into something she didn't want to be in. Her heart yearned for Andrew, but she knew this was for the best. It was like he had tried to do before, it was for both of their protection this time though. This was helping them both to grow up, and force themselves to be the adults they were needed to be.
She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, picking up the caterpillar again (It hadn't gotten far) She put it in the jar, put leaves and a twig back in and put the lid over it, placing a gentle breeze charm on the jar, so that it had fresh air at all times. "I guess we are the same little caterpillar..." She said softly. "We haven't gotten our shells yet.. and we aren't beautiful yet.." She took a deep breath, and then stood up. "I need..." she looked at the jar, picked up her net, and looked after Andrew once more. "I need Elijah.. " She whispered and walked off towards the castle, planning on going to the Slytherin corridor and waiting for him there until he left his common room.
