Chase's eyes widened when Elijah blushed. He blushed? She had never seen him blush before! She felt a smile curl her lips and she looked startled when he put his hand over her mouth. She laughed lightly when he pulled it away, and then her eyes went down to the kitten. "Ohhh! It's so cute!" She said softly, reaching out and letting the cat sniff her finger before she pet it. "Bane of your existence?" She asked frowning slightly before nodding and holding out her hand for Twist. "He's so cute.." She said smiling and petting the cat slowly, making sure it was hidden from the teacher.
"But why did you bring him to class?" She whispered, glancing around at the teacher. "Maybe you should put a silencing charm on him or something, you don't want to get in trouble do you?" She asked handing him back the kitten with a little bit of effort. He really was adorable, but looking up at Elijah, she realized which one she preferred, and even with this inward thought, she blushed heavily. She smiled at Elijah and then looked down at her book. She realized there was a lot about her best friend she didn't know. Like the fact that he had a cat... or that he liked cats at all. She was in love with foxes, and he knew that, but she had no idea about anything about him. She smiled and glanced towards the teacher, hoping he hadn't noticed the presence of the cat.
