General Appearance: In a lot of ways, Simon is his appearance. He is sort of pompous in his own quirky ways, and part of that is his pride in how he looks. He is the sort of guy who will not hesistate to wear a sweater vest, as long as he can pull it off, which he usually can. His hair is cut perfectly to give him a rockstar sort of look and he knows how to maintain it. He is thin, but built, and he works to keep his muscle tone up, though not scary like a body builder. He usually has a smile on his face, because he is just not a downer.

General Personality: Simon has always been sort of focused on his studies, until he realized that there was this wonderful thing called a social life, which he now works on maintaining. He is sort of a romantic, but as far as love goes, his goal is to settle down, have a few kids, and live a normal, picket-fence sort of family life, nothing strange or exciting. Most of what he does revolves around his father's expectations of him. He is a bit of an overachiever, though he is usually only average in everything he tries, though he can pretend otherwise by charming those involved.

Childhood: Simon was spoiled. In every definition of the word. He got what he wanted, he needn't but say “I want!” and he received. His father regaled him with tales of his won youth, encouraging Simon to chase after prestige; He would tell him “All you need is success, recognition, love-” at this point Kendra would giggle “-and gold, of course.” (And then the moment would be ruined). With his father's shoes to fill and everything he had ever wanted, Simon had no choice but to succeed in everything he did, else face the disappointment of his family.

Hogwarts For his first few years, Simon ignored the fact that other people existed and worked on his studies. He was never brilliant, but he belonged to the upper classes as far as grades went, since he always seemed to be able to charm his teachers and usually at least understand what they were learning. He joined the clubs that he could (though he promptly quit anything that he was not good at) and was already a bright pupil by the time he hit fifth year.

Around that time, he started to remember his dad's success had not just been in sports and studies. It had been with his peers and, of course, women. Simon immediately jumped into the social fray, befriending anyone and everyone, though only respecting those with connections and those who were popular enough to be good enough for him. Though, of course, a less-than-orthodox person would come along and charm him, leaving him confused about the type of people he was supposed to belong with. And he immediately jumped into the dating scene, dating whoever whenever, trying to find a girl worth of his companionship. He is rather picky about girls, since they not only have to love up to his standards, but the impossibly high ones of his father.
