Just Another Day at the Office

Khaat smiled and said, "Come on, you two. Lets get my boy settled, then." She took them downstairs to a treatment room, asked Mis to wait outside, and checked Gar over thoroughly. Then she went through the admission process with him and had him checked in.

From there, she ordered that he and Mis be given the day's menu from the kitchen and allowed to choose a lunch. The lunch could be prepared while they were getting settled. One of Khaat's nurses brought the daily menu and Khaat gave a copy to Gar and one to Mis.

"Order what you like," She told them. "The grilled asian chicken salad is wonderful, by the way. Its one of my favorites."

Garulia grinned wide as he possibly could as Mis said she would try to come and see him. He wrapped his arms around her and turned back to Khaat.

Eventually, after much tedious walking with Khaat, he was settled in the treatment room with Mis.

"Thanks Khaat," he said, looking over the menu. "I think I'll take the Asian chicken salad. Thanks for the idea. What about you, Miseria?"

His eyes twinkled as he looked at her, his caring for her evident before he turned away blushing.
