The streets were crowded and the sun was high in the sky, which made the air even more uncomfortable for Ginny. She hated the stickiness of the temperature and the beads of sweat that came along with it, and Diagon Alley definitely was not the right place to avoid that problem. Hogwarts was almost in session once again, and children and their parents were rushing to get last minute supplies. Gin remembered those days, her parents always bought her supplies late in the summer; though she always got them, nonetheless. She missed the first time she walked through that brick column at King's Cross Station, luggage ready in-hand, for her first year at Hogwarts. She always wished that she could do it all over again, simply for memories.
Ginny's thoughts were interrupted when a sweaty woman walked into her. Didn't people have any sight at all? She knew the streets were congested, but there was clearly enough room for the woman to walk around her. Ginny was always easily irritated, especially since... the incident. Ever since her husband's death she was always so cold-hearted, or at least lukewarm, she could never be so rude to people. She simply cared too much for others' feelings and emotions. And if people were hurt, and the pain was caused by her, the guilt would be unbearable. Though she was never really like that in her teen years, as she matured, it became more of an issue to her.
Ginevra was once again interrupted when a few people behind her decided to burst into a run, causing her to fall forward and into the lap of an upset-looking adolescent male. Some people laughed at her, but continued on with their pointless pacing. "Oh, my goodness, I'm so sorry" Gin pushed herself to her feet and brushed herself off. She looked to the boy with apology in her eyes. "I'm sorry, people just, apparently, have no eyes, since I was right in front of them when they decided to practice for Cross-Country" She chuckled.
(Sorry it took so long! D:)
