A P P E A R A N C EHeight: 8'4" and still growing
Hair: Brown, thick, messy kept hair.
Eye colour: Gray
Skin: White
General Appearance: It wouldn't normally be said that Jackson was 'tall' for his age, but rather, Gigantic. Standing at an overwhelming 8'4" the half-giant found himself the center of attention. He has a thin, unmuscular frame attained mostly from his father's side (whom had always been a bit of a pansy both exeternally and internally). His dark brown hair huddles in a mass of messy thick waves that remain untamed. His piercing gray eyes often avoid contact of others in hopes of escaping ridicule or gawks. During school hours Jackson wears mostly the required uniform, outside of school he tends to wear overgrown shirts in hopes that it makes him appear shorter, or rather, less noticable.
P E R S O N A L I T YSkills: Wandwaving abilities, memory, Transfiguration
Weaknesses: Easily frustrated, Insecurities about height, Divination.
Likes: Quidditch, Reading, Bertie Botts every flavor beans.
Dislikes: Being pointed at, His height, Imbeciles.
Motto: (Optional.)
General Personality: Jackson is typically a reserved sort of person. It's not that he's shy, but he's jsut used to being the center of jokes, which makes him prefer sitting out and reading than engaging in such activities. He's pessimistic and will always endulge into the worst case scenerios. He doesn't really have a passion for anything much, Magic aside. And his temper rises rather quick and can get pretty nasty.
H I S T O R YFamily Information: Mother: Margultha
Father: Sebastian Sole
Childhood: (One paragraph - how your character grew up.)
Jackson grew up a pretty normal life... if you subtracted the fact that his mother was a Giantress whom had originally saved then kidnapped his father until they both agreed they were inlove. His mother wore the pants in the family. He was always the tallest amongst his peers, but at his young age, his peers felt a desire to bring him into games (such as quidditch on child-friendly brooms), just because of his overwhelming height. He felt accepted some what, though after a while became excluded in such events because the other children considered it 'cheating' to use the 'ape sized guy'.
Hogwarts: Once accepted into Hogwarts, Jackson spent most of his time tucked away in corners or the like to avoid further speculation. His overwhelming desire to fit in vanished after his first public mocking in his first year, and especially after getting tripped so many times in his second year that he was convined his bruises had become permanent. He focused on his studies as a way to ignore the unfriendly atmosphere. And made damn sure not to let anyone know he was half giant, even though it was apparant by his fourth year that he was taller than most the door frames of the school.
Adulthood: (One paragraph - only if your character is graduated.)
Short Roleplay: It was the
third time he had managed to collide into the low archway at Hogwarts, and was now cursing himself with a hand pressed over the the bright red bump that was begining to form over his forehead. Clearly, the ancient school did not design itself regarding the height of others... Jackson glared daggers at the archway and then swooped below it to get out of its way. Lately it seemed his luck had been getting the worst of him, although luck itself typically ran from him. Yeah. Stubbed toes, Swollen foreheads, and skidded knees was
definetly not him exaggerating. Though he was fully aware that these misfortunes were a result of his height, he instead, refused to acknowledge the sort and instead blamed it on this cursed fate.
From the corner of his eyes he caught glimpse of a few stares.
First years.. he grumbled to himself.
They are rather short this year aren't they? he asked to himself, turning fully to face the midgets surrounding him, who once engaged in eyecontact turned away and scurried off. Tch. He sucked his teeth, bracing himself from attacking the naive first years. "
wasn't like I was gonna eatcha" he mumbled to himself and continued on his way.
The library.. he thought, would make a much relaxing place.
