What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. So Chase's family is very rich, pureblood all that.. and her mom has a house elf, well very recently her family was killed, and in the will they left everything to the kids, well being the only child left, it all went to her. Now here's what I'm wondering...

Are there any rules or regulations that someone would need to know in owning a house elf? Can they be controlled by other people? Or just the person they belong to? Like when Harry inherited Kreature, can you send it to Hogwarts until you need it? Should there be a sign up place for house elves? I'm just curious, I don't want to break any rules and not know it!

Hey.
First thing, thanks for asking, thanks heaps for asking, nice to see someone not just assuming that the first thing that comes to their mind is the right thing haha.

Well, if you command them to do what the other person says, they would have to, but it really it does answer only to you. If harry told kreacher to do whatever ron said, then harry died the next day, Kreacher wouldn't have to listen to ron, and if there was no heir, he'd be free to find a home.

And probably just keep him at your house, otherwise i'm sure majere wouldn't have a problem with him working in the kitchen for awhile haha.

Thanks Smile That clears it up a lot! I was just afraid to assume that it would go to me, and afraid there was something you wanted done, like a sign up list thingy.. I searched for one, but when I didn't see it, I just asked haha! Thanks!
