Nowhere Special

"Hello Anwen," he said with a small smile planted on his face. He stood up and pushed his chair underneath the table. He then wondered what house she was truly in, but had already figured that she may have been in Hufflepuff. Hopefully, she wasn't a muggle who just knew about it already, and decided to mess with Desmond. But what were the chances of that happening anyway?

He walked over to the front door of the coffee building and pulled the door open, holding it for Anwen to walk through first. "He then shrugged slightly when she said that he didn't like coffee. "I'll just get a water or something," he said, remembering that coffee shops in America also sold it along with Coffee. Even as he held the door open, he could feel a blast of cold air and noise fly out of the shop, almost beckoning them to enter.

Anwen nodded her head, and stood up. She walked through the doors, thanking Desmond as she went. The cold air and smell of coffee made Anwen grin, and she took a deep breath. She then turned to Desmond. "Want the water with lemon?" She said. She looked at the choices, deciding she would have black. She ordered hers, and waited on Desmond's answer.

"Sure," he said in a friendly tone, and released the door once Anwen had walked inside. He looked around the coffee shop, and could see that this place had been getting good buisness. The entire shop was full and many different people were talking over each other, and it nearly gave Desmond a headache.

He looked back at Anwen and asked "So what house are you in at school?" He knew that Muggles didn't know what Hogwarts was, so they would probably assume they were just making up names to pass the time, and completely ignore them. "I'm a Gryffindor myself."
