The Ministry!

Hey guys, this poll is to decide weather we should add anything new to the Ministry. Suggestions for what we should add are welcome. Original ideas and canon ideas are welcome. I just need some help.

The ministry has 9 topics in it, and most of the replies are in the minister's office. I would hazard a guess that most of the employees currently are aurors, and there's already an auror forum.

I would fill up each section of the ministry before opening a new one, because I've seen forums that have the whole ministry already set up and what usually happens is there are a few people working in different departments who have no reason to RP with each other so the entire forum goes unused.

I would also like to add that we can't use very department because that would make it incredibly crowded. I was thinking having a max of three departments. Not including Aurors and Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.

Um... aren't you forgetting something? The Ministry also keeps a list of people who are are these

Centaurs - Centaurs are a fusion of human and horse that can come in a variety of colors. They have the body of a horse and the head, torso and arms of a human. They are highly intelligent and are forest-dwelling creatures. Some live in the Forbidden Forest in the Hogwarts Grounds.

Vampires - Vampires are magical beings that are pale and gaunt in appearance. They have a longer life span than humans, living to be over three hundred years old. However, they are not eternal, and die from old age or by being killed by another vampire. Vampires can breed with other vampires, or inter-breed with humans. A born vampire stops aging physically at some point in their life before the age of hundred, but they cannot chose when. A bitten vampire maintains the physical appearance that they had when they were human. Vampires have an aversion to garlic and live on a diet of blood.

Veelas - These are a race of semi-human, semi-magical creatures who appear to be beautiful, young human women. When full Veelas are angry, they turn into a bird-like creature with cruel-beaked bird heads and long scaly wings. Whilst angry, they can also throw balls of fire from their hands. Veelas can inter-breed with wizards, although it is unknown if they can with muggles. Veela traits seem to persist for at least a few generations, although boys born to a Veela possess no abilities, only that they are not affected by the charms of other Veelas.

Werewolves - A person becomes a werewolf when bitten by another in wolf-form. Once this happens, the person must learn to manage the condition. Occasionally, this condition (or disease) can be passed down through parentage.

Animagus is a witch or wizard who can morph him or herself into a specific animal at will. It is a learned, rather than hereditary, skill, unlike those of a Metamorphmagus. All known Animagi in the series take the same form as their Patronus. It is unknown whether all do.

It would look crowded. Wipe the thought of a million subforums from your brain immediately, Matt. I think the best way of tackling it is to have a couple or no subforum links on the main board beneath the Ministry of Magic Link. I think the best way you can do it is when the graduate is added to the group, e.g. Department of Transport, that link appears for them. I don't know how you could do that but at this time I think its the best way you can do it without making the forum go to war with subforums.

Elizabeth, I know....

Eli, I really don't like subforums too much but sometimes to make things work you need one or two. I have two for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and won't have any for the Control of Magical Creatures. But what I'm looking for is ideas. Original ones I mean, unless you have any specific canon favourites.

Liz, we know what Centaurs, Vampires, Veelas, Werewolves, and Animagii are, and that all comes under Department for Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures...

But things are run a little differently now.

Well for the start to narrow subforums so you can add new ones without making confusion is to make Department for Magical Law Enforcement and Wizengamot work together because none of them can function without the other and wizengamot is not that active either.

Apart for Department for Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures you could also add Department of International Magical Coopearation which would make us alot of possibilities to include high foreign ministry officals, organize international events (Quiditch World Cup for example) which would ofcourse be alot forward uintill we make new departments function satisfying.

Still looking for original ideas guys! =)
