History:Brienne hadn't had much contact with her family since she was 11. She doesn't know where her father is, while her mother just doesn't care about her (She'd rather live alone that be stuck with this woman, most of the time, though Brienne only THINKS that her mother doesn't care because of how 'badly' she is treated. Really, Brienne isn't treated bad, she just thinks it's harsh). Brienne even thinks she doesn't have siblings. Her life turned for the better when she was 13 when she met Silas Hastenfield. He was her mentor, 17 years older than her. His reddish-blond fauxhawk and glasses are things that Brienne would never forget to this day. Silas even had a darling little daughter younger than her, whom she became like a big sister to. One day, though, Silas had a run in with Death Eaters that many believed to be fatal. He wasn't killed, but his daughter was still left without a father. Brienne kept her safe from harm until she was adopted. Neither Brienne, nor Silas's daughter know he is alive.
