Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

The ropes wrapped harshly around her thin form and the squeezed as if they were trying to get all of the air out of her lungs. She felt them rub against the cuts in her torso and she bit back a scream which escaped her lips as a groan. It was becoming incredibly difficult to keep herself conscious but she was managing....just. Jen tottered precariously on her feet and felt her eyelids droop. Her hair was sticking to her face now and she was sure she could smell blood on herself. She saw a flash of red light come her way and she threw herself out of the way. She braced herself for the impact with the wall and let her shoulder take most of the blow.

It was time to get out of the ropes but there were some problems with that. Jen’s wand had been lodged between a few of the bindings and although she could probably still get at it, the early spell that the Order member had cast was beginning to work its way down her arms. She bit down on her tongue to keep herself from screaming and attempted to focus her magic on the idiots that were casting spells at an injured woman. Jen fumbled around within her bindings in an attempt to either reach the knife in her pocket or her wand. She grappled after the piece of wood and curled her fingers around it. She heard something snap and she looked down. Thankfully only part of the handle had gotten chipped off as she struggled but she had not idea what she could do now...

[ OT: I'll take the piece of wood is your wand? ]

"There's no need to call her that, she's just doing her dirty work." He said laughing, as he held his wand steady, seeing a jet of red light fly through the boy's wand and go right past her. Bart spun his head to see if it hit her, but instead he saw his spell had hit her. He smiled, with a small grin on his face. She could dodge the Stupefy, but not anymore. She was locked in ropes, her wand a little far away and he wasn't sure if she could do anything. She managed to grapple it, as Bart approached her slowly, flickering his wand. "Sectumsempra! Crucio!" He pointed his sectusempra spell at her arm to make her let loose of the wand. He was hoping the curse would hit her, and he would make her cry in pain god damn it he would. "Just improvise. Shouldn't be too hard. I wasn't counting on a plan, just though I'd beat them." He said, smiling at the masked boy.

"Alright," he said trying to figure out how to use Crucio. He had learned that in order to use Crucio, you wanted to see the other person in pain. He tried and tried over and over again, but he still couldn't fire the spell. Screw that. He grimaced underneath his mask and then said "Levicorpus!" as the spell shot out from his wand, he then said "Expelliarmus!" hoping both would hit her

[OOC: Aye! Jenny broke it. Razz]

So this was where the torture began was it? Was she being held responsible for the crimes others had committed? She’d done nothing wrong – shot her own brother, sure, but she’d been doing a good thing for society. Now she was about to be cursed into insanity by a maniac that was probably just as sadistic as the Death Eaters. She didn’t know what in Merlin’s name she’d done to deserve a fate such as this one but she just hoped that someone – anyone—would bail her out before the twat started having a good time.

When the Sectumsempra hit her, Jen let out the scream that had been threatening to escape from her throat since the first one had began to afflict her. The wand fell from her reach and she looked down only to be forced to her knees by the force of the Cruciatus. That was what she really made her want to scream but it was the aggravation of the cuts becoming progressively deeper that was causing all of the pain. Jen felt another two spells hit her chest and she was thrown backwards before then up into the air by her ankle. That, she guessed was the child’s spell.

It was then that she decided, through her pain, that she needed to get to the knife she had in her pocket. She twitched her fingers a few times and tried to get them down towards the hilt. Jen bit down on her tongue as another wave of pain came from the combined torture spells. A strangled scream came from her throat but she continued to work towards the hilt of the knife that would be her ticket out of the ropes. Right now though, all of the blood was rushing to her head and some dripping out of the cut in her head before matting in her dark locks. Jen closed her eyes, her fingers falling slack for a few moments before she began to move them again. She needed to keep alive...or at least awake.

Andrew was contemplating on setting the Death Eater on fire. With one good spell, he could ignite the ropes and completely burn her alive. Yet he woudln't. He wasn't a murderer, he only killed in self defense. He would watch her squirm. "So how does it feel?" he asked suddenly "to feel yourself trapped in a couple of spells, beaten by a kid and one Order member. Doesn't feel nice now does it?" He would try to make her mad, to make her want to kill him. To see the full extent of her anger, and use it to his advantage later on.

Freaking amazing, Jen thought dryly as she continued to push her arm down through the ropes. Her fingers brushed the hilt of the knife and she decided to be careful this time. She hesitantly began to take the knife from her pocket, keeping her eyes on the child the whole time. If he was trying to make her angry then he was doing a good job – the only problem was that she just didn’t have the energy to keep up with it all. Sighing, Jen took the knife from her pocket and began to feed it across to her other hand which had a lot more movement.

“I’m pretty impressed.” She said, trying to keep his attention for a while. Her voice was hoarse and weak, a far cry from what it was a moment or so ago. “A child that probably hasn’t even hit puberty yet .... beaten a fully grown witch that could kill you without even having to twitch a wand. Yes, I am impressed.” Her other hand grasped the blade and turned the knife around. In one swift movement she sliced the ropes and they fell away from her. She pocketed the knife and called her wand to her. She charmed herself with a spell that would give her a fraction more energy as well as numb the pain somewhat. “My question to you, boy, is this: Where do we go from here?”

Andrew had his hand on the Siren now with a smirk on his face. He wasn't going to be intimidated by a witch who had more bark than bite. "I don't know," he said ready to pull it out "where are we from here? Cause all I see is one messed up witch who can't seem to just give up." He gripped his wand even tighter and kept thinking protego over and over again in his head. This was going to be a challenging fight.

Bart, let out a small laugh, as he watched the girl beeing tortured by him, as he kept his wand still, pointing it at her, with rage all over his body, he just wanted to rip her apart, heart here, lungs on another room, and all that. He realized she had a knife justpulled out yet, he just yawned and flickered his wand. "Expulso!" He said, pointing at her arm, not wanting to kill her. He sighed and flickered his wand again. "Sectusempra!" He said, wanting to cut her even more. "Don't let her mind-tricks get to you."

She was tired, hungry and definitely not feeling her best but that was no excuse to let one and a half wizards beat her into submission. The elder was getting some sick joy out of the whole ordeal and it was really playing on Jenifer’s temper – not that it was much use anyway. She’d lost all feeling her legs now which couldn’t have been good. She did, though, feel better about it than most would have. If she couldn’t feel the pain then she could really do a whole lot more. They’d had their fun. The joke was over. It was her turn now.

Her vision was slowly righting itself and she could see the men a little better. She’d definitely stopped seeing double which was a real plus. She could get a good aim on them but held her wand slightly off to make them think that she was still disorientated and in pain – both of which were slowly coming to a climax. She blinked rapidly and moved her wand in one fluid movement so it was trained on the two of them and quickly yelled, “AVADA KEDAVRA!”
