Ronata's room at the walker farm

Steven apereated to his place as soon as they arrived he let her go expecting a slap. but she didn't instead she looked around complimenting his taste in decor. Moving to take her hand in his he was suprised that she let him "the spare rooms this way" he said guiding her down the corridor to a room next to his. opening the door he let her go in smiling as she looked around taking out her suitcase and trunk thyen placing down her fathers spell book next to the bed and sat down.
"the door there is ajoining one that you can lock , my bedrooms threw there "he locked it and gave her the key" theres only one key" he nodded when she said she was tired and left.

as he opened the bedroom door she smiled it was perfect a big bed and all done in a femanin touch , moving in she placed her fathers book on teh beside cabinet adn sat down , now feeling the tiredness and events of the day taking there tole on her . she heard him say about the door and nodded taking the key from him a she stood up "thank you Steven, for giving me a place to stay " she said and gently kissed him too on his cheek she couls see his cheeks turn pink and smiled "I know I am safe here with you" moving from him she sat back on the bed as she left the room smiling and letting her know he would be only next door as he closing the door.

she placed the key down and looked at the book the stone now showing more red and she smiled knowing it had took some of his blood now he could look in the book but nobody else it weas a safty lock her father had placed there. Enlarging her things she found a pair of pajamas and changed deciding to unpack in the morning as she was too tired she intended to sleep under the covers but as she placed her ehad on trhe pillow she fell asleep almost straight away.

He watched her cross to him and felt her kiss his cheek he could not help the blush he suddenly had "thats ok Ronata ,I kinda like your company, Im next door if you need anything" he said softly sad he moved to the door after saying good night he closed it . He didn't go straight bto bed but moved to the living room and made a coffe for himself sitting in a large chair as he drank it but he coulkd feel himself slowly droping of "I'll go to bed once i finish my coffee" he thought but he never made it falling asleep in the chair the handel of the cup caught by his fingers as he slept.

Ronata woke in the nmiddle of the night slightly chilled , slipping from her bed she went to get qa drink of water . Finding steven asleep in a chair holding a now cold cup of coffee. Reaching out she gently took the cup from him and placed it on a small table then pulling ablanket from the back of his sitee she laid it over him smiling as she looked at him alseep thinking he was a hansom man but seemed inside some what lost. "sleep well Steven " she said softly as she gently kissed his for head before picking up the cup and feaching her drink.Moving back to her room she soon fell back to sleep.

The next time she woke she ehard a soft nknocking on her door and she sat up watching Steven open the door "Brians invited us over to his for breackfast if you want to go" he said he stood in teh door way " Ow and thank you for the blanket last night " she heard him say holding it up "thats all right you looked cold " she said smiling as he left "I'll be dressed in a moment" she said and she was , true to her word now wearing light brown trousers and a light cotton shirt and boots very much symiler to what Steven wore . She moved to stand in front of him and this time she wrapped her arms around himeasily as he aprested them both to Brians farm.

Brian had been up for hours before Khaat woke. She had slept in a bit, and she knew why Brian had let her do it. Khaat had been having frequent, uncontrollable migraine's lately, and Brian was getting worried about her. Taking care of 2 babies was something Khaat really did try to do for herself when she wasn't working, but it had meant a severe lack of sleep. And she was really pushing to do the job she had done and Rob's job too. Brian wanted her to do both jobs. He was urgently trying to get her to hire a manager for Sparks to reduce the demands Khaat had on her energies and her time.

Once she was dressed in denim shorts and a cool white gauze sleeveless tunic and leather flipflops that had native american beading on them, she pulled her long hair back in a leather tie and went downstairs. It made her smile to see Brian had conjured another crib downstairs that was large enough to hold both babies and had put them there where they were closer to her and Brian for easier care.

"Good morning," he smiled, bringing her coffee. "You are looking more rested today. How's your head?"

"Better at the moment," she said.

"Let's keep it that way. Lizzie sent feta cheese omlets this morning. Yours is still hot. Oh, and she sent a lemon scone for you too. Go eat before it gets cold. Don't forget Steven and Ronata are coming over this morning."

"We should have invited Jack and Jess too."

"I did. I sent them an owl last night. It was a bit short notice, but I explained that the whole plan was short notice," Brian laughed.

Khaat ate breakfast while Brian commanded the windows to open to let the summer breeze in. The morning was still pleasantly cool and fresh smelling. Khaat rinsed her plate and put it in the sink before joining Brian.
She could not resist going to the crib and checking again on the babies.

"Relax, Mom," Brian said gently, "They're fine."

Ronata smiled as he kept his arm protectively around her as they moved towards the door of the house "brian has a beautiful house, not to say yours isn't , yours is more homely" she said correcting her self as they moved. She felt Steven chuckle at her oviose atempt to correct her self but say nothing "sorry I didn't mean to offend" she said but was relived when he told ehr not to worry about it and thats just what he had been trying to do.

Khaat glanced up and saw Steven and Ronata approaching the house. They appeared to be moving very quickly in terms of their relationship. "It seems that Steven's relationship with Ronata is on a fast track," Khaat said to Brian quietly.

"And that surprises you?" Brian asked, having expected that out of both Steven and Ronata. He wasn't surprised in the least.

"Well, not on Steven's part. I guess I just didn't know how Ronata would respond."

"Oh, I did," Brian said. "I saw that coming--completely. "

"How is it you are so very wise?" she laughed.

"A lot of years around Remus and your father, I suppose," he said. "I sort of think like they do sometimes."

"You certainly do. Khaat, before I don't have time to tell you--be careful with Dakota around Miseria. She is not mentally well. I felt it in her. That girl has had some sort of a nervous breakdown or something."

"Yes," Khaat sighed. "She did. She just didn't cope with labor and delivery well."

"Just be sure she makes the right choices, alright?"

"Indeed. I will have to be careful with that," Khaat agreed.

He could not help but sigh as they arrived at Brians he could smell her perfume and it was wonderful, he kept his arm around her knowing sometimes apreating can make you dizzy but she seemed not to be phazed by it. As they moved she commented on how Brians place looked compared to His own "thats ok I was kindsa going for homely Brian hardly spent any time here you see he works away, a lot" he said not going into too much detail as they moved to the door he held it open his arm still around ehr as they walked inside to see Khaat and Brian already up "hey Brian , Khaat, morning " eh said grinning to them both.

"Good morning," Khaat smiled.

"Good morning, you two," Brian said. "From your smiles, I would guess that things were a bit less frightening at Stevens than in London. So do either of you have any ideas about anything you would like to do today? Looks like its going to be a beautiful day. It might be a good day to spend by the pool. Unless you had some ideas."

Ronata looked at Khaat and smiled "no the pool sounds quite nice " she turned to Steven and poked his arm "I should let you know I swim like a fish" she said smiling to him as she moved to sit facing Khaat now some what relaxed it was then she reaslied she didn't have a swim suit "ow I didn't bring a swim suit " she said quikly turning to Steven "before you even sujest it , no, im not skinny dipping " she said and saw the innocent look on his face she could not help but laugh a little .

looking at Brian she nodded "yes its a lot less sacary and a lot more relaxing too , its like being back home" she looked at Khaat as she spoke again " I actuialy woke to the sound of a cockrel crowing and forgot where i was till Steven came it to tell me we had to come here, It's nice feeling safe."
