Betsy was pissed becaue (see page 12 video) piper bassically pushed her into the water. She went by the edge of the crick and sat by marianna and ate a pie.

Xzac stole the pie from Betsy, shoved it in his face, and ran off.
He climbed a tall tree to watch Betsy's reaction.

And boy did Betsy react. She cursed the branch Xzach was standing on so it fell off the tree. Then she ran over to him, wand at the ready.

Out of no where, Hermes, Xzacs barn owl, flew by and stole a cookie out of Betsy's pocket.
Xzac pulled out his wand and put a floating charm on one of Betsy's cookies and floated it just out of reach above her head.

Betsy sent a stunning spell directly at Xzachs heart.

Xzac fell over, stunned, of course, yet the cookie still floated above Betsy's head.
Hermes was angry. He tossed the the cookie in his beak in the river and began to peck Betsy wildly.

Betsy stunned hermes. She said "Accio cookie. Don't mess with me." She said to Xzach as her cookies floated into her mouth. Then she felt remorse, she unstunned Xzack and reluctantly appoligized .
