Nerissa climbed off of the ground slowly, testing out her legs to make sure that they would, in fact, hold her up when she stood. She sighed out of relief when she didn’t fall back to the cold floor, pushing off of the wall slightly so that she could step forward without much effort. Nerissa eyed the man before her for a moment, but took hold of the pen nonetheless. At least she would not have to experience apperation once more. It was a sickening sensation and a terrible way to travel, Nerissa had found after only actually apperating once.
However, she soon found that taking a Portkey wasn’t any more enjoyable as she felt a spinning sensation wash over her, it was almost as if she was on a ride at some carnival; she was unable to stop the dizziness that came with the spinning, and she had no control over the speed. She shut her eyes quickly, realizing that in order not to throw up, she would need to do so.
As soon as her feet touched the ground she wobbled, nearly falling to the ground. This traveling stuff would definitely take some getting used to…
