Sophia and Julia's End of the Year Party!

Nerissa brought a few of her fingers to her pale lips to stifle her laughter. She nodded and set her clothes down on the stairs before fallowing Andrew out the door to the pool. As soon as she stepped outside she could feel the sun’s rays attempting to burn her fair skin to a crisp. She squinted; it was really bright, and the sunlight was reflecting off of the blue water so intensely that it made her eyes water. Nerissa shielded her eyes by resting one of her hands along her eyebrows, which casted a shadow over her face so that she could at least see where she was walking.

It wasn’t until she got close enough to jump in the water did Nerissa realize how nervous she was about being in water again so soon after nearly dying because of the cursed liquid. She leaned forwards slightly so that her head was hovering over the water’s surface but her feet were still planted firmly on the pool’s edge. “I don’t know…” she muttered to herself, releasing the air she had locked in her lungs; she had begun holding her breath ever since she had come anywhere near the glistening water, as if she had already gone under its surface.

Andrew stood next to Nerissa and smiled. "Come on," he said getting ready to jump in "I'm right here." He jumped into the pool and felt the water form over him. It was a weird feeling to hear nothing but the water moving in it's own way. He swam up to the surface and then broke through the top. He toke a few breathes, still trying to get used to the water and then looked at Nerissa. "Come on," he said "the water is great!"

Nerissa closed her eyes and nodded slowly, everything will be fine, Nerissa. Andrew wouldn’t let you drownd- heck, he saved you last time! Jump. On the count of three.

She stepped off of the edge and fell into the water, slipping underneath the surface. Everything moved in slow motion, like a video fast-forwarding one frame at a time, but her heartbeat continued to thud just as quickly as ever against her ribcage, rattling the bones. White bubbles clung to her skin and floated up toward the surface right before her eyes, like a firework show; the second she jumped in, the water had rippled on the surface and exploded into a million little bubbles for her to enjoy. Her lungs begged for air but she stayed in the blue-green water, her hair floating like red seaweed all around her face. She wasn’t drowning- or, yet, at least- and knowing that put her in a strange yet excited mood.

Finally, Nerissa pushed off of the bottom of the pool and gasped for breath as soon as she could feel the air and the sun on her face. “Ha!” she cheered, but clung to the edge of the pool with her fingers nonetheless.

Andrew swam over to her just in case if she hadn't risen up. He was about to go get her, but he saw her push up and surface. "Hey!" he smiled and then held onto the side of the pool with his hand. "I knew you could do it." He then swam around in a circle and said "well now that- Heads up!" he said then splashed some water at NERISSA

As she took his hand she locked it into his without realizing it and followed him to the floor. Once they were on the floor Sophia gave him a soft warm smile and started dancing with him. Sophia was surprise that she haven't stepped on his foot or nything for she was so nervous that she was so close to him.

Lucas and Sophia danced, occasionally looking into eachothers eyes and just smiling, in a kind of shy and embarrassed way. "Nah, I'm just following your lead," Lucas told Sophia. Lucas had put Sophia's hands on his shoulders and his own hands above her hips, but they still could've been a bit closer, but he didn't want to rush anything or be too forward. "I'm just glad I haven't stepped on your feet!" Lucas admitted with a chuckle.

She didn't want to say 'ok' or anything, for that matter. But it seems she would now need to let go of the past and move on, but it hurt her too much. Andrian seemed to have plenty of time for Sophia, her sister, but not herself. Nikki was going to forgive him, just then, but thought that if he had time for Sophia, why not Nikki. "It's been a really long time," Nikki replied, quite icily.

Andrian furrowed his eyebrows at her, as he noticed how she gave him the icy treatmeant. "So, how you've been?" he asked her, trying to keep his cool. He knew had to talk to her soon, but it wasn't the right time. It was Sophia's special day, he didn't want to ruin it. To his dismay he heard his little sister walking up behind him, he smiled as he saw her and gave her a warm hug."Hey sis, you look absolutely beautiful today," he told her as he looked at her clothes.

"Hello Lily, it's been a while," Nikki smiled at her, giving her a quick hug. "Hope all is well," Nikki said to Lily, hopefully. Nikki sighed at the fact that Andrian had given up on her so easily and didn't even want to talk to her. "I've been busy, you know, Jake, school, work, and being Hannah Montana," Nikki told him, whispering the last words, showing to him if he's so busy, he should try and be Nikki - she's busy too, you know but she still has time for people she loves like Harry, and Sophia. Nikki wanted him to know that even if she is busy, she still somehow makes time for everyone - but even he hadn't seen his own son in a while. Why couldn't he just apologize and really mean it, but prove it as well, Nikki sighed.

Your fine. Nerissa laughed nervously and let go of the pool’s edge, kicking her feet rather franticly in order to keep her head above the water. She pushed her long red bangs from her face so that she could see better and smiled at Andrew. “Oh!” she squeaked when he splashed a small wave of water in her direction startling her. Her head went under for a moment, but she was laughing when she came back up to the surface, “That definitely wasn’t fair,” she scolded him, her amusement clear in her tone.

Trying her best to relax in the deep water, Nerissa slowed the pace at which she moved her feet, only to figure out that in order to tread water, you need to keep moving; her head dipped under and she inhaled due to surprise, sending water racing into her lungs painfully. She reached out desperately and clung to Andrew’s shoulder, being the closest thing to her, and therefore, the easiest to reach. She gasped when she managed to pull her head up out of the water, her breaths fast and panicked even if nothing too terrible had happened to her.

"Woah you alright?" he asked pulling her up so her head was out of the water. He then swam over to the shallow side of the pool with her and looked worried "Everything okay?". He held onto the side of the pool and looked at Nerissa, standing on the pool with one foot.
