It would be a rare occurrence for someone to catch Caelani looking like herself, but if they did, they probably wouldn't recognise her.
Her naturally brown hair has been blonde for as long as she's known how to brew a beautifying potion while her eyes are a quite unnatural shade of green ever since she discovered colour-changing eyedrops. Fortunately for Caelani, her height and weight are a natural blessing, else she would undoubtedly go out of her way to "fix" those things too.

Caelani is for the most part, an extremely easy person to get along with. She dislikes argument for the sake of argument and cannot stand the amount of in-fighting that goes on amongst her peers.
Unlike many death eaters, Caelani isn't into torture or pain. Though she believes in what she does, she genuinely regrets that it's necessary and doesn't draw it out long unless there is a real need.

Early Years:
Caelani was raised by her father, and spent most of her time exploring the family museum. Fabian Bittel was a man not much suited to paying attention to a child, but Caelani was a child very suited to a distracted caretaker, so this worked in everyone's favour.
Hogwarts Years:
Caelani's Hogwarts career was unremarkable up until her sixth year when she met, and became enemies with Sabina Lond. Lond's popularity along with her family's ties to the Ministry made Caelani's life hell for the beginning of sixth year. However an attack on the school at the beginning of second term, along with the headmaster's weakening grip on reality soon forced the girls to become friends.
Seventh year brought more surprises, with the Death Eaters attacks becoming more blatant, and inner turmoil at the Ministry of Magic, which eventually forced Sabina and her family into hiding.
Adulthood:
The loss of her best friend was a blow to Caelani, but it had its benefits as well. Caelani was not raised to believe in the intrinsic superiority of purebloods, a sentiment she knew her friend did not respect. She was, however, curious about the Dark Arts and all that went with them. Sabina's sudden disappearance left her free to pursue her own agenda without being tied down to her friend's antiquated idealisms.
After she graduated school, Caelani found it was not much trouble to become associated with the Death Eaters. Although they were a miserable bunch, they were the only organised rebellion against the Ministry of Magic within Britain. It didn't take much to bide her time among the organisation until enough of the top dogs knocked themselves off so that the group practically fell into her waiting hands.
Running an evil empire was nothing like Caelani had expected, however. She had watched muggle movies and they made it look so simple but either something had changed since the eighties or minions simply didn't have it in them anymore. Trying to get the Death Eaters to do anything - even remember their manners - was like hearding cats. They were all so assured they could do it better than whoever was in charge. Eventually, decided she was putting in far too much effort for too little reward. A reward she didn't even really want!
With Grindelwald's return on the horizon, she left them to their squabbles and left the country for two years.
