Summer was definitely on its way and the Phaedra was greedily soaking up the sun as she wandered through Diagon Alley. Granted it wasn’t as good as the weather from her country but it was close enough considering. Rain had disappeared for the most part which meant Phaedra could put buying a coat on hold. She didn’t really want to go looking for one, nor did she intend to and the sun was helping her put it off.
Her trip to Diagon Alley had been rewarding in every sense. She’d managed to pick up a few potion ingredients and some books. Of course, some new books in her version was roughly four bags filled to the brim with them and Phae still had yet to fill her whole bookshelf. It was rather irritating but she was glad she had the room to expand and get more. It definitely made the whole thing much more interesting.
Phaedra opened the back door of the Leaky Cauldron, having come through the courtyard bit at the back, and stepped inside. She took a table in the middle of the pub and put her bags underneath before making her way up to the bar. She ordered a white wine and once she had it in her hand she made her way back to the chair which she nigh on collapsed into. Phaedra put her white wine on the table and smoothed the skirt of her dress out. She crossed one leg over the other and pulled the copy of the Daily Prophet, which was lying on the table, towards her. She opened it up and from there, began to read.
