Brian made another security check and found everything as secure as it could be. "Brian, I've got it for awhile," Robert said, "If you want to go work out for a bit, that's fine by me. Besides, It will give me a chance to talk to Sophia. I understand Khaat is looking to hire her."

"Oh. Okay," Brian said. He took advantage of it and went downstairs to the cellar. He decided to take a run on the treadmill and not disturb Steven's workout. Besides that, he wanted to see how long he could run--how far could he push himself? He needed to know. He set the distance meter and the timer and started running

steven moved now in rythum to his own body his heart beat mimiking each move that he made first asweeping one then under arm then he moved to some tie chi moves but seeing Brian on the tread mill stopped and watched him , moving to one next to him he saet everything and began to walk "all secure?" he asked as he moved the tread mill rasiing slightly to increse the dificulty for him Cara looked up and chuffed as if chuckaling to him.

"For now, anyway," Brian said, "Robert's on duty. I'm sure he'll call if anything comes up. I'm glad he gave me a chance to work out. I really needed to stretch out my muscles. "It looks like Cara thinks we're pretty silly looking--running and walking and going nowhere. I would imagine it would look pretty ridiculous to a creature who's neer seen a treadmill before. So, no trouble with that Knockturn woman, then?"

steven looked at him quickly ," how did... ow no none we left her by the couldren she shuld just think she drempt it all" he said loking down at Cara who sat watching them and he coughed a little as he ran hoping his slip was not noted but he knew Brian was quicker than that. Turning back to face the screen of the tread mill as he focused back on his running soon he could feel the sweat run down his back.

"Ok. What did I miss? You are definately leaving something out. What happened?" he asked, still not losing stride with the pace he'd set on the treadmill. He wasn't pushing for speed. He had a relaxed pace so that he could test his own endurance instead.

Steven looked at him "ok, ok that night I got ... drunk I woke next to a rather irrate cockney woman with a..." he stopped and looked at him with a sigh ".. with a tattoo on my cheek and I don't mean upper " he said stopping teh tread mill as he wiped himself down " she had one too she thought i was going to take her away from everything" he said and sat down " thats not teh emberasing bit , the tattoo.. it had her name in it and she had one of mine , i just hope she removed hers" he said looking up at him as Cara moved to brush her head against his hand."whlie we were droping off the woman she saw me , I ran, thats why jack was laughing "

Brian just sighed a bit, not responding for a second. Part of him felt guilty for allowing Steven to leave while he was that drunk. "I take it you had yours removed, then," he said. "Probably for the best. And as for hers, well, who knows, but I wouldn't worry about it. Most of her clients are too far gone to really pay much attention to any tats she might have. Most of those women and their clients are pretty self serving. They don't really seem to care much about anybody else. I dn't hink you have a lot to worry about, honestly."

steven nodded "I know , jack found it higly amusing when my face went white when i heard her and ran" he could not help but chuckle at his own anticks "i probably looked like something out of a cartoon , god i hope i used somthing or she could grab me for any kid she has" he covered his face with the towel and gave a groan "I can't rember anything of that night, even now" he looked up at him.

"I'd leave it alone. Most of those women use protection charms. They don't want to end up with any surprises either. It sort of disables their income. I wouldn't worry about it any further. Most of us have done something we wish we hadn't done. It only means youre human. Forget it--its over and done with now. And so far, it doesn't appear that you're worse for wear. Wonder where jack went."

he smiled and chuckled again "yeah she just suprised me in the alley i guess , and I think hes playing with his son upstairs " he said looking at the stairs back up just as he walked down "well speack of the devil and he shall apear" he said grinning.

Jack looked at both men "what I do now" he said and grinned "andrew wanted to play cowboys and wanted me to be the horse , i sent the ottamon to do that for me" he grinned and stepped on to the tread mill that steven had just left "wow who was on here last " he said and preessed to slow it down "i am not running a marathon" he began his walking but glanced at steven "as for that woman I know you were talking about her, I know her and shes a one , she uses protection charms so don't worry about any kids turning up she more likly to see you as a trophy that anything" he said continuling "I just didn't know you knew her " he grinned at him.
