What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Class Ten - N.E.W.T. Empty Class Ten - N.E.W.T.

Another day, another class. Professor McCoy had replaced professor Emof, who had work in the Ministry, not a long time ago. He liked teaching, especially Transfiguration. He had done some teaching jobs before, but Transfiguration was always his favorite. He wrote his name on the blackboard and sat on his desk, waiting for the students to arrive. He also waved his hand and wrote the title of today's lesson - Defodio and Protean Charm.

Arthur entered the Transfiguration classroom, taking his usual seat. As usual, he was the first one to arrive. He smiled to the professor, hoping that this class would be more interesting.

Belle walked in and took a seat in the back, she was not in the mood to be around people nor in the mood to even be here. But she needed to pass and so she sat down and took out her parchment and quill and awaited for class to begin.

Mariana skipped up the stairs five floors not even having time to feel tired or out of breath. All the running around seemed to made her used to running for more time "Good morning Professor." she said stopping as she reached the door and took a sip of water from the bottle before she sat down somewhere between Arthur and Belle as she always did. "Hey you guys so what's up for today?" she said not being bothered to name anyone just adressing them both at once.

Again!? This is sad, only three. If this continues, I might resign and let some blood-sucking amateur teach you. Then you will see what Transfiguration is. But, I guess you are not the ones I should be directing this speech to. Now, today's spells... definition and effect?, he asked, disappointed.

Belle raised her hand, "I am truly sorry Professor, but please don't leave us to that horrible fate. You are a good Professor. And as to the question, Defodio causes deep gouges in objects and Protean Charm well I am not very sure what that one does. Sorry."

And yes, you are correct with your first spell and the Protean Charm is used to link objects and alter their forms in the process. You can use it to communicate secretly, for example. So, what I would like you to do today is to make a tunnel through this ball-shaped rock you see on your desks. An easy task which enables you to use the Defodio spell. The Protean Charm is something you can practice outside class.'', he said, conjuring rocks on their desks.

Arthur observed the stone, taking his wand out. It was thick, which meant that he would have to cast the spell two times and with great power. ''Defodio'', he fired the first blast, digging through the first half of the rock. The gauge, or tunnel, was the size of a tennis ball. ''Defodio'', he said, finishing the job. He took the rock, looked through it at the professor and smiled. ''I am done'', he said.

Belle nodded and then looked down at her own rock and cast the spell twice with just the right amount of force to cause a tunnel to appear through the rock. She then pushed it away from her and put her wand back in its place. "All done Professor."
