NEWTS - Class Three

Another class and another day found Gibbs at a loss of what to teach. Most of the exciting spells were bordering on Defence against the Dark Arts. So, Gibbs decided to make things at bit more interactive today. He enlarged the classroom by a fair amount and lowered a part of the floor at the side of the classroom near the windows. He transfigured the desks and chairs into tables and chairs a little bit more comfortable before putting a railing across the piece of floor that could potentially be a problem. At least with the railing they could lean over and not end up killing themselves. Gibbs walked back over to his desk, pleased with his handy-work, and sat down. He flicked his wand at the board, getting the chalk to start writing and he picked up his book, deciding to read for a bit as he waited for his students.

Arthur entered the classroom and took a seat in the front row. ''Morning professor. I trust you are fine today'', he said.

Mariana climbed from the dungeons after leaving one or two things she considered unnecessary for the moment. "Morning Professor." she said walking into the classroom detaining only to see today's title raising an eyebrow at the last part. I could start from dropping my head.. she thought for herself as she sat next to Arthur just like good old times. "Hi Arty!" she said to him hoping she didn't spoil his plans with sitting with Amelia or something.

''Mariana... you are... fine again. That is splendid news. How are you, my dear?'', he asked with a cheefrul smile emerging from his face.

"If you call me Mariana one more time i am gonna slap you onto the ceiling like a pizza. Remember my name is Mari." Mariana replied with a threatning though joking tone. "And i am pulling through i guess. How much of a choice do i have anyway.." she said shrugging her shoulders like she didn't do anything special.

Sophia walked into Charms class after missing the last lesson because she was knocked out on a coma for three weeks. "Good morning Professor Gibbs, I hope your well."said Sophia softly as she took a seat beside Mariana and smiled. "Hey Mari, how are you today?"Sophia asked her curiously as she gotten her stuff out for class. Sophia missed so much, she hoped she was able to catch up before the year was over with or she'll be a seventh over again. Sophia looked at the board and wrote down what Charm they were doing in her neat elegant writing and waited for more people to join them.

Mariana looked over as Sophia walked inside sitting on the free chair next to Mariana who was sitting next to Arthur. "Hi Sophi i am surprised you didn't arrive before me!" she commented giving her a friendly hug hoping Professor Gibbs wouldn't mind.

Julia walked into the Charms classroom, clutching her books to her chest. She looked around and noticed only three other students in the room plus Professor Gibbs. "Morning Professor" She greeted with a smile, and looked around the room, taking a seat. Julia looked up at the board and read in her mind Unbreakable Charm; another spell that she had no idea about. She sighed and folded her arms across her chest, waiting for the class to begin.

Suzannah skipped into the Charms classroom in an unusually good mood. She gave a fake smile to the professor and looked around the classroom, noticing two innocent-looking Gryffindors that looked fun to annoy. She walked over to them and gave them the same fake smile that she gave the teacher. "Hey girls!" Suz said in a bright tone, "Gossiping about boys?" She chuckled.

Arthur turned around to see the who was being so awfully direct and ignorant. ''Ah, I knew you were blond. You just had to be.'', he commented ironically. ''I know you are able to see and I know that you have noticed me. So, what am I trying to point out, for your blond brain... can you be so stupid or so ignorant to speak with your female peers about gossiping about boys in the presence of a boy? You Slytherins do come in a lot of varieties.'', he commented.
