How your character got this ability:
* Leglimency- threw his time at hogwarts in as a NEWT. Also while his fatherwas talking to the cheif of his tribe one summer, he was taken aside as a boy by the Medicine Man and taken to a sacred moutain. Once there he told Steven he had a great gift. Under meditation the Medicine Man helped him understand he could reatch out his mind into others.
He looked at the medicine man and tryied to focuse on him the one thing he did pick up on was a thought of flying. On telling the medicine man he just smiled and told him the more he worked at it and focused the more it would come to him. Which it what he did every summer holiday he woulds instead of going to his farm he would spend with the medicine man learning.
* Speaking to Animals - threw his time with a Medicine man in his native tribe, he was taken aside as a boy by the chief was told he had great potentioal , all he saw at the time was he was not out playing with his dog and horse, but learn he did and being tought by the Medicine Man he soon developed his ability and the children he use to play with developed a respect fotr him. Then he was told that as a child he would not need it but when the time came that he would need it, it would surface once more and be his always.
Not knowing what the medicine man ment he continued to work at his ability but then he found out he was accepted into the ranger acadamy. He went to the Medicine man but all he said to him was that the spirits work in there own way his time would come when he needed it and he would know but for now he had to walk the path of the worrior white man. He left for the acadamy and never thought about it again, Untill now.
