Slytherin Dressing Rooms

(Im not so sure if im supposed to b posting here because i got a message from Amnia Lestrange about a position on the Team, and I accepted a position as a chaser, but not sure if I got accepted, so im just gnna b safe and post anyway.)

Woody walked into the dressing rooms nrevous about his new position on the team. He had just recently got a position as a chaser. He had no idea why he accepted it, it was probably to impress Amanda, but he didnt really care. Woody hadn't seen anyone in the dressing rooms yet, wondering if he was supposed to be there in the first place. "Ummm.... Is anyone here?" He looked around but no one to be seen. Woody saw a rack against a wall that had a bunch of clothes marked with tags, " Chaser, Keeper, etc." He said repeadting the writing on the tags. He grabbed one that said "Chaser" and tried it on in the dressing room, " A little tight, hope that's not a problem." He walked out after about 15 min. in the dressing room, but still no one to be seen in the main room either.

Scorpius hurried into the dressing room, and quickly changed into his quidditch robes. He looked around the dressing room, there was one other person, a new person in the team. Scorpius frowned, he hated it when teams changed. Him, Selwyn and Ne'os had done an awesome job last match, but now the team had nearly completely changed. ONly Aminia and Albus remained from the old team. Scorpius didn't say anything to the new guy, he wasn't entirely nervous before matches, but he wasn't too talkative either.

Woodferd looked around and saw just the one other person, he had been there for at least an hour, so he wondered if everyone was late, or if he was just early. He walked up to the other person and asked, "Is it always like this or was I just early?" He thought he should introduce himself, being the new guy and all, "Oh, and by the way, I'm Woodferd."

Slytherin seemed to have to tackle getting onto brooms again and try to win a match. Eli was feeling confident, he had a good feeling about the whole thing but anything could change. Hufflepuff weren’t as rubbish as they were professed to be. He’d seen a few training sessions when he was out in the grounds, they weren’t spectacular but they won’t awful either. He wasn’t exactly sure but he knew well enough that he had overslept. So, trying to shrug off the feeling of sleep and random paint that was clinging to his skin, Eli made his way down to the Quidditch stadium.

He opened the door of the Slytherin changing rooms, letting in a draft and walked inside, slamming it behind him. He walked towards the shower stalls with a passing greeting to the other two in the room and turned on one of the showers. He pulled his clothes off and jumped under the hot spray of water coming from the nozzle. Eli felt a lot more awake now and even the necklaces that clung to his neck seemed to enjoy the wash. He smirked and righted the Slytherin pendant so it was facing the right way. He moved the leather choker around his neck a little to loosen it and shut off the shower. Eli grabbed one of the black towels from the bench and tied it around his waist.

Eli walked back out into the main room and chucked his clothes onto one of the benches. He looked over at Scorpius and smirked a little to himself. Eli looked over at the other boy and just managed to stop himself laughing out loud. The kid had gotten a shirt that was clearly too small but he was broader on the shoulders than the person he was replacing, that was obvious. Eli grabbed his wand and flicked a resizing spell at the shirt. He made it a more comfortable size and put it away again. “You were early mate.” He nodded over to the racks with the uniforms and began to go through his bag which he had abandoned before going to the showers. “Chuck me the bigger beater’s uniform would you?” Eli asked as he searched for a few hair ties. He didn’t know what to do with his hair when he had to play Quidditch but he was trying to get to grips with being a Beater. The Chaser position was his forte but he was pretty good at every position except from Seeker, he wasn’t as streamline as his father was.

Woodferd looked over at Elijah, then at the rpbes, "Yeah, sure." He grabbed one of the big beater uniforms and tossed it to Elijah. He went and sat down on a bench and waited for others to come. Being the new guy he felt like the runt of the litter, The black sheep, the one who's gonna screw up and lose Slytherin the whole game. He scooted over and lay down on the bench.
He was gonna talk to Elijah, but didn't really feel like it. He was too worried about the Quidditch game. He had only taken the position as a chaser because he was lean, mean, and fast. But of course he didn't think about him not being able to fly, although Amanda was supposed to teach him, she hadn't yet. Maybe he should leave the Quidditch arena and go to the lake to see if Amanda was there.
Even if he didn't want to talk, he was gonna talk to see if he could gain respect from these guys. "So, what's up woth the whole flying thing? We couldn't just run or something? I mena, I know we're wizards and all but, don't you think it'd be easier to just run or something?" He looked at Elijah and then at Scorpius to see what they thought.

Julia scurried into the Slytherin Dressing Rooms, hoping she wasn't late. She looked around, only seeing Scorpius, Eli, and Woodferd, one of the boys in her house that she hadn't yet known. She could feel the butterflies brushing against her stomach; this was her first match as a Chaser- well, her first match period. Julia smiled and went over to Eli, giving him a big, bear hug "Hey you, lookin' fine in those Quidditch robes" She giggled and went over to the rack of robes, grabbing the smallest sized "Chaser" outfit she could find. Julia tried it on, it was a tiny bit big, but that would be alright. She got even more nervous as her hand flew to her stomach, assuming it might calm down the butterflies.... of course it didn't. Julia smiled as she saw Scorpius. They hadn't talked much ever since the Valentine's Day Dance, and he still didn't know that she was dating Frank; they had decided to keep it a secret in sake of their reputation. She gave Scorpius a quick hug, "Hey, getting nervous?" She asked, assuming he wasn't.

Eli caught the uniform and pulled the jersey over his head. He winked at Woodferd in thanks and got dressed. He’d only just pulled the breech type trousers on when Julia nigh on bounded into the room. He returned her hug enthusiastically and could instantly feel the knots of worry in her shoulders. He didn’t know why she was panicking because she had the easy task of scoring. He would keep the Bludgers off of the Chasers whether he had to do it Single-handedly or not. Sure, being a Beater wasn’t something he had a talent for but he had an advantage in the speed section and he had a pretty strong swing so he could get rid of the blighters quick enough. He would have been a liar if he had said he wasn’t nervous but he had learned to bottle it up.

Fauve had kept him busy so his mind had been off of the game the night before. He was still learning about how much attention kids needed but he was getting there. He was just glad that he hadn’t found her when she was tiny because he would have been in some deep shit then and he knew it. Eli was just glad that Fauve could stand on her own two feet more or less. She still needed him and to some degree he needed her but they were a standalone unit family. Nachash was... well, the woman of the house so to speak and said snake was leaving Eli’s arm to sit herself down on the bench. He smiled and leaned down. He ran his hand along her long spine and tickled her gently with the tips of his fingers. The giant snake hissed in pleasure and licked Eli’s cheek.

“What’s got into you then?” He asked, thoroughly amused. She playfully narrowed her beady eyes at him and Eli chuckled before kissing her scaly head and standing back up again. He looked at Woodferd and raised an eyebrow at the bizarre question. If Eli didn’t know any better then he would have said that the kid was worried about flying. Eli knew a few spells which could be considered cheating but as long as the kid didn’t die then it wouldn’t really matter. Plus, Slytherin house weren’t exactly honest Quidditch players.
“Worried or something, mate?” he asked, walking over to sit down opposite Woodferd. “We can’t run because Hufflepuff would win. Now, we don’t want that do we?” he looked over to Nachash and watched her slither over to Julia who she had clearly spotted. “Ashy leave Jules alone.” Eli warned. “Don’t scare her.”

Julia knew that Chaser wasn't the position that needed most effort, though she continued to feel nervous and worried. She played fairly well during practices, but she knew that if the whole school was watching the game, she would feel more pressure and play horribly. She knew that she should sit down and take a few deep breaths, that always helped her calm her nerves. Julia took a seat on one of the far-off benches and took a deep breath, closing her eyes. She instantly felt a little better and got back up to her feet. She never really felt nervous about going in front of a lot of people; she used to act in plays, and she loved the adrenaline rush she felt while she was on stage, it's what helped her stand tall during shows. But this situation was different in some way. These were her classmates and teachers watching her... not total strangers shes never seen before.

Before Julia could get even more nervous, she noticed Nachash slithering over to her, she smiled and held her arm to the ground for her to perch on to. Julia looked up to Eli who was warning the snake, she slightly chuckled "Don't worry, Ashy doesn't scare me" She smirked and ran her finger alone the snake. Nachash hissed, and Julia slowly drew back, but Ash rubbed her head against Julia's forearm. "Ready for the game?" She asked Eli, continuing to strock Nachash.

Ami walked hesitantly to the dressing room, she dreaded today's match, she wasn't able to find any one to replace her team that was falling apart in front of her very eyes, was she really that bad of a captain? She shook her head, answering her own question, Nah' Ah. I'm just new to it. No one's perfect. she couldn't help but roll her eyes.

As she walked into the dressing room, already dressed in her quidditch robes and broom in hand she noticed new people, she couldn't help but wonder whether they were any good or not.

Ami smiled as her eyes scanned the room landing on the two people she did know. "Morning everyone!"
