I need a title....
Harry had wanted to escape all the dangers of his life, he wanted to just quit! But he couldn't quit, he was the Boy Who Lived. "Neither can live while the other survives," that kid. He was leaning on a fence in the garden of the burrow, his seventeenth birthday would be in seven minutes. He looked up at the night sky wishing it all just went away as he did much lately. He heard the rustling of grass behind him and he whipped around his wand outstreched. "Chillax Mate, it's only me," came the voice of Ron. He hadn't changed out of what he had been wearing during the day, although his hair was messy and his shirt was backwards. Harry grinned at Ron, "Just payed a visit to Hermione?" he asked him. "Shut up," Ron replied moving up next to Harry. For a few minutes they just stood there, almost reading each others minds.
"It has to be done Ron." Harry said finally breaking the silence. "I know, we've got to find his horcruxes and you've got to kill him!" Ron replied looking at Harry. "We?" Harry asked raising an eyebrow. "Yeah, me, you, and Hermione." he said as if it were nothing. "Ron, you do realize if you come..." but Ron broke him off. "Harry, I've been your beyst mate for seven years now! You honestly think after all we've been through, I'd be afraid of some guy who's name is Tom." he said grinning. "Let alone Moldy Wart," he added. Harry snorted and looked at Ron, "Let me just get one thing straight," Harry began. "If I die and you and Hermione survive, get married already!" he said grinning.
He had something else in mind too, but he would do that sooner or later. Harry looked down at his watch, three minutes till he was seventeen. "Well, you've got another three minutes of underage magic. What're you going to do with it?" he said chuckling. Just then Ginny's outline could be made coming from the Burrows back door. Roon looked at Harry and then Ginny, "Well Happy Birthday mate!" he said patting him on the shoulder. "Thanks Ickle Ronnikins," Harry snorted and swore he could here the word 'Git' come from Ron. Harry smiled to himself and then her smell hit him, Ginny was right behind him. She was wearing a light blue robe, it looked wonderful with her flaming red hair. "Hello Harry," she said moving next to him. His alarm on his watch went off and he looked at it. "Happy birthday." Harry looked up at her, her brown eyes shimmering in the moonlight. "Thanks Ginny," he replied looking at the sky. "Its hard to believe that just over six years ago, I was living in a cupboard under some stairs."
Ginny smiled at Harry, he looked handsome tonight. She closed her eyes and let his smell linger, it was a sort of oak smell. She opened her eyes and Harry was looking at the sky. "Harry, I know what your going to be doing most of this year," Ginny began. Thank God he's going to still go to Hogwarts for a bit, "And, well I just wanted to give you something." she said in a whisper. Harry turned his head and he saw Ginny leaning in close to him. Before either of them knew it, their lips were together. And it wasn't that peck you give your aunt either, it was a real kiss. This was a kiss he would always remember, that first one with the person you truley love. I mean Cho was pretty and all but Ginny was beautiful, smart, caring, stubborn, a good flyer. The list was endless. Harry didn't want to break away, and neither did Ginny but they had no choice. From the twin's window there was a loud yell and as soon as his and Ginny's lips left eachother, the sky was bright.
The twins had set off dozens of their Weasley Wizard Weezez fireworks in honour of Harry as it might be the last time they see him as they joked (Mrs.Weasley almost skinned them alive when they had first joked). The fireworks spelled, "Happy 17 Harry!!". Although there were several others around it it was focused on the letters. After everyone in the house had gotten up and saw the Fireworks Fred pulled out his wand and made letters appear in the air. "Good Luck Harry, can I have your Firebolt?" and Harry let out a barking laugh like Sirius's. The thought of Sirius was painful especially today. It had been two years since Bellatrix Lestrange had killed him, or rather a veil did, but she took all the credit. It was still a painful thought, Harry grinned up at Fred. "Nah, It's going to Ginny!" He yelled up at Fred. And with a mock saddened look Fred backed away into their room.
"Well, happy birthday Harry," Mr.Weasley's voice came from a window. "Yes, happy birthday Harry!" Mrs.Weasley followed. Hermione and Ron were together now, Hermione was wearing Rons bathrobe and Ron was still wearing the backwards shirt. "Happy birthday Harry!" Hermione waved down at them. The look on her face made him turn around. It was only then he realized the picture that they were gazing on. Him and Ginny, alone, in the garden. Harry smiled and looked back at Ginny, he moved closer once everyone had retreated back inside and shut their windows. "Thank you Ginny," he whispered in her ear. His hot breath againts her ear and neck made Ginny's hair stand on end. He kissed her on the cheek and winked at her, he then began back towards the back door of ther Burrow. Leaving Ginny there, to treasure the moment forever, not that Harry wouldn't.
