"If its okay with your dad. They're old enough for homes now, and we certainly can't keep all of them, or we'll be overgrown with them," Robert said. John thanked him and ran off excitedly. Robert watched the two boys for a moment and saw Andrew flinch slightly. Pain. Robert was detecting pain in that boy in his energy signature. "I'm going to borrow that new boy from you for a moment, Steven," he said. He went out and called Andrew. "Let's go talk for a minute," he said gently, leading the boy off into his massive study.
He just sat and talked with Andrew and made a complete assessment of him. A collarbone fracture. Well, that was the thing troubling him now. Andrew's body yielded a whole history to him as Robert scanned him. He set the bone magically and stopped the pain for him, and put it in a sling. "Two days," he told him. "Then it will be good as new. I'll give your dad a bottle of pain potion, even though I know you won't take it. Ok. Go play. I think I need to talk to your dad for a minute." He sent Andrew back outside with John. 'Steven, we need to talk," he said to him.
