Natalie walked in the common room with her eyes glued to the book she held in her hands. She had her messenger bag slung across a shoulder, causing her to tilt slightly. She planted herself on a divan close to the fire place, keeping her eyes fixed on her thick book.

Natalie almost jumped when she heard somebody's voice. She looked up and saw another girl in the common room. "Oh, hello. I'm sorry I didn't notice you before; I was caught up in my work." she chuckled softly, "How are you?"
