Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Lysander ruffled through papers as he studied for his Transfiguration test on Monday. The toll of leaving Hogwarts had hit him hard. Lysander had not slept for almost 30 hours now. He had almost completely cought up with Charms, COMC, Herbology, and Divination but Transfiguration was proving tricky. He had never been that good at it but now when he was months behind he was having all sorts of trubble with completely easy spells. Giving up Lysander shoved the papers aside and picked up the book for History of Magic and started to intently read the chapter on Gaint Wars, tuning out the people around him.

OCC: This should be fun. Smile

Abbey walked into the study room, loaded down with homework. She had so many essays and quizzes to study for; she barely got time for anything else. But Abbey was a good student, and was determined to finish all of her homework so that she could do something fun this weekend. She took a seat at a table across from some other kid who's face she couldn't see because it was covered with books. Abbey shrugged, ignoring it, and opened her book to chapter one to start on her essay.

OOC: Agreed!

Lysander glanced up from his boring book when someone sat down at his table. He always had a hard time studying when he knew others were around him. With the little peak she saw a flash of smooth glowing red hair. No one had hair like that but.. Abbey. Setting his book down he could see the face of the girl he was once in love with behind a book. Sucking in a breath of supprise he pulled his face back behind the book. Considering he had left Hogwarts for sevral months, not even saying goodbye, Lysander figured that she would be a bit mad, murderous even, if she had felt even one tenth of what he had for her. Without even meaning to he had slid down in his seat so she would not see him.

Abbey threw her quill down in frustration, not able to concentrate when the person behind her was making all the noise. "Hey, can you keep it down? I'm trying to work here!" she said. Abbey wasn't usually that rude, but she was annoyed that she couldn't get her homework done; she'd much rather be playing her guitar right now, or even flying around the quidditch pitch with the wind blowing through her hair. Abbey raised an eyebrow as the person behind the massive pile of books didn't say anything or even acknowledge her presence; she didn't feel quite so bad at being rude to them now, because they were just returning the feeling to her now.

Lysander snorted loudly. It was clearly a VERY bad time to catch Abbey. He hated to think of that screaming directed at him, as he assumed it would be, and at a much louder volume. Everyone at the table had intched away from his Abbey a little bit. Lysander laughed sighlently at himself. His Abbey. He was possesive. He and Abbey were over he told himself, or just taking a break. Realizing how low in his seat he was, Lysander straitened himself out, bending his face over the book wishing he were doing something else, or in another time. A time when he and Abbey were happy. On the grounds, by the quidditch pitch, roaming the halls. Lost in his dreams he nearly forgot that hir face was clearly visable over the book.

Abbey glanced back over at the person who was bent over their books. She felt a bit bad about screaming at the person earlier, but she felt like she couldn't help herself right now. She decided that she would apoligize directly to the person's face. Abbey folded the corner of the page she was reading over and walked over to the hunched over figure. "Excuse me, but I just wanted to say I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier. I'm just kind of stressed out right now." she said formally.

Lysander's insides were screaming. Abbey! Abbey! Abbey! Why did he have to care about talking to her? Why was she so important? Why did she have to talk to him in the first place anyway? WHy could they just go along with their lives like nothing had happened? Setting down his books he looked the girl he loved strait in the eye and asked like he where seeing her for the first time "Abbey Dawn?". There was no dought in his mind that he loved Abbey now, even if love was a strong word, so was hate. And Lysander felt these emotions would be coliding very shortly.

Abbey gasped, her hand flying over her mouth. She couldn't believe he was back; she was sure he had disappeared forever. 'Lysander?" she asked, shockingly. Many emotions came flooding into her mind: anger, hate, love, happiness, some she couldn't recognize. "Why did you leave?" she whispered.

"My Mum" Lysander said simply. "Went looking for Crumple-Horned Snorkacks in Africa. Mum thought we had a new lead but when we got there, there was nothing so we came home." He said. This was a weak explenation but he hoped with all of his heart it was good enough. Lysander was so mad at his mother, and he was never angrey at his mother. How could she take him away from his friends and girlfriend. Was Abbey his girlfriend? Not anymore, he thought unhappily.

Abbey couldn't believe he was really here again, after all the time she had spent wondering where he was. Abbey's cheeks flared up bright red as she thought how much she had cried when he left. She raised her hand and slapped him across the face. "You deserve that after everything you did to me! You...you..jerk!" Abbey screamed.
