Plans interupted....

Sammy was sitting on a bench in front of a coffee shop in Diagon Alley. She was waiting on Anti and Varod to get back from a mission they had been on. She was drinking a cup of coffee, she looked down at her watch to see that they where late. She hated having to worry about them. But it just reminded her that she was in love with one, and bestfriends with the other. Recently her mind had been tampered with by her ex-husband, Ne'Os. She couldn't remember anything about him, which wasn't such a bad thing if he had decided to be evil now. She turned her had, again, to look for them when she saw a man heading towards her. She was confused she didn't know this man. So she looked away thinking that he was going to pass her up.

Godric had no intentions of letting this day go to waste. He had been watching this target for a day or two, and finaly found an opprotunity to strike. He sat down on the bench next to Sammy. He remembered her from before he left. If his memory served him well, which it always did, she was a Hufflepuff. As he sat down he drew his wand quickly. Not meeting her eyes, and letting his black hair fall over his own, he spoke as if to no one.

Samantha Burns, ex-wife to Ne'os Emof, I presume? Just to get his point across, he tapped his wand, pointing at her, aginst his leg.

Sammy was surprised to she the man who was walking towards her a second ago, sit down next to her. She was even more surprised when he said her name. "Excuse me? Oh...um yeah I guess that's what I have been told." Sammy said to him now looking down at the wand in his hand pointed at her from his lap. She didn't know what she did to make him pull a wand out on her, she only thought that maybe he was just parinoid.

Good. I have a present from your ex-husband. He wished you to be the only one to see it. It is after all, quite expensive. He wanted to repair the rift between you two. Show that he turned over a new leaf. Godric smiled using all his Veela charm, what little he had as a Qutra-Veela.

Come with me, and all shall be as a Mid-summer Night's dream. He stood and offered her his free hand, still keeping his wand on her. Then agian, you don't have much of a choice. he said, his tone turning from friendly to dark and sarcastic. It was as if a switch had been thrown inside him.

It was odd, like sammy couldn't say no to this man. Half of her wanted to go with him just to see Ne'Os for her self, since she couldn't remember him. The other half wanted to stay here for Anti and Varod. Obviously she left with the man. But she did leave a coin behind for Anti and Varod. They would pick it up and see the message on it. She could only hope that the man didn't see her leave it. "Yes that would be very nice. I would like to see him." Sammy said to this man standing up and following him watching his wand at the same time.

Godric led her down the allyways. Down twists and turns that would leave most people confused about there barings. Through the twists and bends in the allys he turned to her. His smile sincere and kind.

So Sammy, what ever happened between you and Ne'os? Godric's stance and look said that he was truly sad about there break up. I remeber a time when someone spoke ill of you and Ne'os tried to take off there head. He was making small talk trying to distract her from committing the trail to memory. Godric had wandered the streets of Diagon Ally for a long time trying to find the perfect place for the set up. And as they continued he led her into the outskirts. The border of Diagon and Knockturn. He walked up to what appered an abandoned building, but Godric had made up the inside to look like a lavish estate.

Turning the ornate key, Godric opened the door. By all means, ladies first. He said with a slight bow. His curtasy was genuine. It was after all, part of his upbringing.

Sammy frowned as she realized that she was starting to get confused. She had no idea where they where, she thought about Anti and Varod trying to find her. It would be imposible. She then looked up at him when he asked her about Ne'Os and her. She knew that he wouldn't believe her about her not knowing Ne'Os. So she told him as little as possible. "I don't really know. I've been told that he was a good man and we loved each other." Sammy said to him continuing to follow him. She then stopped behind him as he unlocked a door to a building. She walked in first as he offered. She stopped a foot after walking in and waited for him to come in.

Godric enterd the stunning entrance hall. It's silk in vibrent shades of green and silver. He turned and slid the lock into place, and then a dead bolt.

Well, I will warn you now. He is not planning on being here himself. As he said those words, a snake almost six foot long slithered out from one of the chairs. It was a georges Albino Egytian King Cobra. It's amyethis eyes looked at the female, and then back to Godric. It's hissing almost sounded like a language all its own.

In Parsltetounge Godric answered the snake. No you may not, this one is mine. The snake bowed its head, and went over to the teen. He picked up the snake and it coiled around his shoulders.

Now then, Shall I show you his gift? Godric asked, innocently.

Sammy watched as the man walked into the room, he bolted the door closed. She felt like coming to tears now. How could she just let herself get into trouble like this. Then the sound of a hissing snake made her head jerk up quickly. She heard the man talking in snake and she looked at him confusedly. How did he do it? But then she watched as the snake coiled its self around the mans shoulders. It was his pet. She took a deep breath and continued following the man. When she heard that Ne'Os was not going to be here she realized that there had been no reason to come then. She felt a single tear leak from her eyes. She wiped them away before the man could see. "How sad I was hoping to meet him." Sammy said to him hoping the man couldn't hear the fear in her voice.

Godric smiled despite himself. What happened to you? Did you hit your head? Do you have amnisia? Godric was loving the mental games he was playing. After all, even as an Assassin, he knew there were fates worse then Death.

He led her into a back room on the first floor. A room filled with candle light. No windows, no other doors, just thousends upon thousends of candles. And in the center stood a giant golden box. Godric knew it was empty, but he wasn't going to tell her that. After all, he wanted to dash her hopes before getting down to business. Deth was Godric's business after all.

By all means, it's your gift, and I know your much stronger then I am. You are a Vampire after all. Godric's smile was sweet and kind. His eyes betrayed nothing of his intent.
