Question! Why do we celebrate Easter in March huh?

And, Mari, Easter does not always fall in March. This year it happens to be in April. April 4th to be exact.
Easter always falls on the first Sunday after the Vernal Equinox--what we most often think of as the first day of spring. That goes by moon cycles, etc. So this year, The vernal equinox, or first day of spring, is also the day when most of us will be resetting our clocks for daylight savings time. The following Sunday will be Easter.


Now isn't that more mindless trivia than you wanted to know? LOL
