Alex couldn't hold laugh back for longer, so she let it out. She flied around Elijah, laughing, and asked: "If the attractive ones are seekers, then why are you beater and not a seeker?" Oups. Did she said that?

Dark eyes watched as Alex circled him on his broom and Eli was quite enamoured with her. She had spunk and he liked that about her. Upon hearing her slip of the tongue Eli grinned like an idiot but thankfully she couldn’t see. He sobered up fairly quickly and let a smirk tease his lips. “I’m the special breed of Beater that has the sex appeal of a Seeker. I’m rare, there aren’t that many around anymore y’know.” Eli said, trying to keep a serious look on his face. Instead he let out a bark of laughter and grinned widely.

The blond smiled. "Tey're rare, yes." she agreed. "Yea, luckily ya're no the only one 'round here. I'm the second one," she joked.
Alex liked that something with Elijah. This vacant, free state, that how he made a joke from everything... and the way how he looked at her. Alex had learn thoughts only from eyes. She didn't knew exactly what was that look, but she didn't actually care. She was happy every time she felt Elijah's eyes stopping at her. "You can become friends at the first sigh." These were her father's words and she knew these were true. At least this time. Alex had never have much friends, but somehow now she was getting some. First Miseria and now Elijah. Cool.
