Jess walked into the drawing room. It'd always been one of his favourite rooms, and he didn't understand why everyone seemed to avoid it, nor why they didn't hold meetings in there. Ah well, such things never changed he thought, before looking into the merrily crackling fire and smiling. Ah, dusk, one of the best times of the day, the time of beginings and ends, and of course it looked nice at this time too.

Anyway, he'd asked matt to meet him here, as he'd been told something which deeply troubled him, on more than one level.

Emmy was missing. Still. And nothing was being done about it, and he was going to change that

Matt apparated outside Grimmauld place and entered the house making for the stairs. He was wearing muggle sweats a very old T-shirt and a plain black bunny hug over the shirt. He had a solemn look on his face, almost a look of pain yet it wasn't necessarily pain. He walked up to the drawing room, the door ajar and he walked in. "Hey Jess, you wanted to see me?" he asked walking up to him scratching his very messy hair. He had lost interested in keeping himself well kept now as he rarely went out. The stages of depression were finally closing in on him.

Jess looked at matt for a second or two before replying. God he was a mess, a few weeks ago if you'd told Jess he'd end up like he was now, he wouldn't have believed whoever was telling him such things. "That'd be right," he finally replied, nodding to him. "You ok?" he quickly asked, before deciding just to get to the point. "Matt," he said, "What do you know about Emmy and her disappearence?" He asked

"I've been better..." he sighed. Oh God Jess was wanting to discuss Emmy. Matt had pretty much given all hope up when Sophia had been stabbed. She was in St.Mungos under critical care, she could die. "Jess...I've tried ever since that incident to forget that day. And after Sophia was stabbed...I gave up hope." he said calmly. "I though Emof was my friend...he was just a little bastard that kills for pleasure!!" he said angrily. "Listen Jess all I know after Emmy disappeared, was that the Death Eaters took them....." he said softly.

Jess nodded, he'd expected as much. "Well," he began, "how would you feel about me asking the order to focus on finding her for awhile?" he asked, raising his eyebrows with a questioning look, he hoped that this would help Matt

"Jess, if you did that, and you found her. I would take a killing curse for you!" He said laughing and standing up. His eyes went from a gloomy grey to his normal green color. "Jess please!" he said. "I just want her back! With Sophia gone as well...Jess I have nothing left...cept you and the Order" he sighed.

Jess nodded, he understood what it was like to lose the one you love, the feeling of having them so close, but so far. "Well," he said, "you have no idea where she is?" he asked him, "I mean, the world is a big place, and i'll do what i can, but a little nudge in the right direction would be helpful." he told Matt honestly

"Well, no sadly..." he said. "I've been looking around, and I think the only way we can find anything out would be to find Sandra and get it out of her" he said. "Yes I know it was Sandra who did it, one of the Death Eaters I managed to kill let it loose." he said. "There's your nudge...more like a shove but still...I swear its gotta be somewhere close to me. Somewhere where something critical happened, it'd be just like her to do that..."

Jess nodded. He was right of course. That's what the DEs did. They baited you with something so meaningful, so obvious that you can't possibly see it unless you stop looking. "Well," he said, "I completely agree with you," he told Matt with a weak grin. "Sandra is a deceptive cunning lady, the Death Eaters, they're sadistic, malicious, and cruel, and they make it obvious they're doing so." he told him. "Well," he said, deciding to get to the point. "If you have any idea, please tell me, because i really want to help you. It hurts to see my friend in this state," he told Matt with another small smile

"I hardly believe Sandra's a lady..." he said snickering. "More like a barbarian..." he said grinning at him. "There are also several other words I could use for my old "friends"" he said with a bit of an angry look on his face. "I have found some clues to where she might be, I am thinking she is around Little Hangleton. And...thanks Jess..." he said returning the smile.
