General Appearance: Rob has inherited the elegance and good looks from his mother’s side but thanks to his father’s genes he can look like he has been dragged through a bush backwards but still looks fairly good. His eyes are occasionally covered by glasses and he does have a bond with the spectacles that helped him see through his teen years. He has fixed his vision for the most part but it can get a bit fuzzy once in a while. Rob has a strong, beaters build but has slimmed down over the years. He still retains a lot of muscles but it isn’t something he draws attention to anymore. He’s also collected some scars and tattoos over his years. When he graduated from Hogwarts he and a group of friends went on a pub crawl and it ended up with Rob waking up in Madam Malkin’s dressing rooms clad in nothing but his boxers. After being thrown out of the shop he wandered home and collapsed into bed with the intent of sleeping through the day. Now, many think it impossible for someone to sleep through a tattoo being permanently sealed into someone’s skin but Rob is a horribly heavy sleeper and his cousin who was a budding tattoo artist at the time managed to get the whole left side of his torso and arm covered in a tattoo that even he was intrigued with. A few others he got recently which consist of the Star of David on the side of his left hand by his thumb and a less than sign with the greater than sign just inside of it on the same hand but on the skin by his fourth finger. He also has the number three on the inside of his third finger and the infinity sign on his middle one, parallel to the number three. On the other hand he has ‘Khaat’ written in an elegant script on the inside of his forth finger as well as some runic letters that are tattooed across his wrist and if one didn’t know what they said then the person would think it to be some sort of bracelet. Another tattoo which Rob got recently would be the dragon tattoo that runs down his spine and takes up most of his back. He’s fond of this tattoo especially because it is a portrait of his favourite dragon on the Romanian Dragon Reserve.

Skills:

• Getting himself lost – Rob is forever getting himself into bizarre situations where he ends up somewhere where he doesn’t intend to be. The best example of this is when he ended up in Romania one night after an attempt to Floo home went drastically wrong.
  
• Wood Craft – Rob has a gift and he can do things with his hands that others can’t. He could probably successfully make a Wendy House out of freshly chopped wood and if he is having a good day he can carve small figures right out of the trees themselves.
  
• Defense against the Dark Arts – Unlike during his school days where he was only decent at the theory of the subject, Rob now has a better understanding of how to defend himself in the event of a disaster happening like a Death Eater attack or a stray Dementor that would like to make him his next meal. Rob doesn’t consider himself an expert but he’s pretty handy with a wand now.
  
• Stunning Intuition of the Female Mind – Despite being tied down now, Rob still has a good idea of what women are thinking but he’s been wrong in the past so he does doubt if it is still a skill of his.
  
• Getting himself into trouble – It’s a skill but it will probably be his downfall because it is usually his actions that make him wind up in suicidal situations
  
• Cooking – Rob is an exceptional cook and is a force to be reckoned with in the kitchen as it is his domain. He has a dream to open up his own restaurant one day but is content right now with working in Khaat’s Bistro.
  
• Telekinesis – It is a trick that his mother always praised him for. Rob has had a knack for lifting up objects and calling them to him for as long as he can remember. His first magical traits were both Telekinesis and his Animagus ability but the latter was more pre-mature. If someone was to glance at him they could often see a snout or floppy ears.
  
• Leglimens – Rob has always been good at predicting people’s thoughts so when he decided to learn how to be a Leglimens it came very easy to him. He isn’t good enough to rival Voldemort but he could probably hold his own if it came down to it.
  
• Animagus – During his time in Romania, Robert was frequently chased by dragons and despite not realizing it before, he was already and Animagus. So one time when they were closing in on him he thought long and hard about having a more animalistic body that could out-run the dragons. Now, theoretically his Animagus shouldn’t have been able to but somehow the Black Labrador was able to hop it quite quickly.
  

Weaknesses:

• His love for Khaat – It is something that will probably end up being a problem as he gets more active in the war but she seems to be a thorn in his side with all the trouble she gets herself into. But despite this, Rob can’t stop loving her.
  
• Jenifer Dent – His sister is probably the only person in the world that can see right through him. She knows all about his flaws and can read him like a book. She also knows exactly what he has done in an instant and can always tell where her brother is whether he’s in the Amazon rainforest one moment or the South Pole in another.
  
• Hot Headed – Rob gets angry easily but it is generally only because he cares about the person he is angry with. Khaat is usually at the brunt of his anger because of her inherited Gryffindor stupidity but he usually forgives her immediately afterwards because he despises being in arguments with people.
  
• Has no filter between his brain and mouth – It has got better but he still does tend to put his foot in his mouth when it comes to certain things. Rob’s just not too good with words.
  
• The Enemy to all Animals – [strikeout]Robert Andrew Dent, Animal Lover[/strikeout] Rob just ends up making enemies out of animals. His dog Charlie hates his guts but he’s positive that the dog likes him really.

• Shopping – Ironically enough he enjoys it.
  
• Painting – He can’t draw too well but he’s awesome at painting which in his point of view is just stupid.
  
• Wood Work – He’s good at it and he loves doing it.
  
• His family – Despite not having such a good relationship with his family he still loves them.
  
• Running – Ever since Romania he has just loved to run.
  
• Cooking – His favourite pastime.
  
• Women – What’s not to love, honestly??
  
• Tattoos – Another vice of his but he loves it.

• Alcohol – A nice night down the pub with some mates on offer and Rob is sold.
  

Dislikes:

• Khaat trying to be the hero – She just ends up being hurt
  
• Feeling useless – He doesn’t like being unable to help people
  
• Death Eaters – It’s a mutual thing but he’s not averse to befriending a few.
  
• Animals – A mutual thing but he tries to have some sort of relationships with them
  
• Chocolate – He had way too much as a kid.
  
• Meat – He despises the taste of it; all of it.
  
• His grandmother trying to force feed him – He’s always too thin apparently but all she tries to give him is meat which makes him sick anyway.
  
• Tea – He thinks it is bland and horrible. He’ll only have it on dark days like if his who family were wiped out or something which seems unlikely because they breed like rabbits those Whitlock’s.
  
• Politics – Not his cup of tea and he hates tea so Politics really isn’t something Rob likes.

General Personality: Rob would say he’s a pretty humble guy and he truly is but that doesn’t stop him from having problems with people. He is a happy person and doesn’t let trivial things get to him. He is passionate about what he believes in and usually doesn’t take no for an answer. But despite being a nice guy and the perfect son in his mother’s eyes he is very flawed. Robert believed as a teenager that he was some kind of superhero or a blessing to all women and none of the girls at Hogwarts thought to correct him and even if they did his ego was too big for it to be a problem. This ego has deflated over the years and he has gotten on with his life but some of the god-awful traits he has always had have stayed with him. Rob has no sense of general direction and can’t even read a map which is something all men are apparently able to do. Rob’s excuse for this is the fact that he grew up with women. He is also extremely reckless where his love ones are concerned but he is thoughtful at the same time. When nothing is hanging over him he is usually quite wise and knows what he’s talking about. Rob is a confident guy to the point of arrogance but is often thrown off by the simplest of things and this doesn’t help his anger. He has grown up having people drum into him that he is better than others and they should therefore trust his opinions but that was one of the first things he learned to ignore. He is also selfless which he doesn’t believe himself. He will do anything for the people he loves and would happy lay his life down for Khaat or whoever was in trouble. However, he isn’t the most faithful of people in the world. In his younger years he would chase anything female with two legs and would enjoy doing it. This trait could be a problem in the future but another problematic trait which actually gets him out of a lot of trouble is that he has a lot of charm. He could probably charm his way into the Minister’s pocket if he knew what buttons to push and that has saved his neck quite a few times over the years. Aspects of his personality do conflict but he is a good guy. He means well and gives his all in everything – he’s just unfortunate to have some silly traits that he hasn’t quite grown out of yet.

Family Information:

• Mother: Charlotte Whitlock-Dent – The one woman that can order him about, well she is his mother.
  
• Father: Joseph Dent - He left when the boat crossing from America docked at Southampton and was never seen again. He is presumed to be deceased but this has never been proved.
  
• Siblings: Jenifer Elizabeth Dent, 38, His sister and confident, she’s the only blood relative who can get away with teasing him and escape unscathed.
  
• Aunts: Helena, Farah and Genevieve Whitlock – They’re… mad.
  
• Wife: Khaat Karina Lupin – The love of his life. Rob has no plans on letting this woman out of his life.
  
• Children: Miseria Manson-Lupin, Abigail Dent (unborn as of yet) – Both loved equally.

Childhood:
Robert was born on a passenger cruise liner The Apocalypse as it sailed from the United States of America, back to the UK. When the liner docked at Southampton his father disappeared. His mother broken heartedly went back to her family home in Wiltshire where Robert was to grow up. There was a curse on the Whitlock family that said that every female who produced a child would lose the father of the child one way or another. The Whitlock women were only supposed to produce girls as per the curse so one can imagine the shock that Charlotte had when she found out that Robert was in fact male. She had automatically assumed that he was female and when it came to having to wash him she found out the truth which scared her a little. All of the Whitlock girls lived in the Manor which was where Robert had to grow up and he felt the loneliness of being the only male in the house. The first years of his life were fine but as he started to get older he needed some male companionship.

It was in the spring after his sixth birthday when he met Reginald Mitternacht in the park one day. They were best friends right away and Reg’s mother often likened them to beans on toast because they depended on each other to be at their full potential. Reginald was forever at the Manor with Rob and the two would cause horrible mischief together. They were forever pranking his cousins and sister which would get them into god-awful trouble but they loved being told off by Rob’s grandmother because she’d forget why she was yelling after the first few words and push the boys into the kitchen for a slice of the cake.

Rob’s childhood wasn’t missing much but a male influence. He tried his best to get on with it but ended up working in the local carpenter shop. The man’s name was Jim Nicholson and refused to be called anything but Jim. It was he who taught Rob everything about woodwork and he was the only father figure in his life ever. Unfortunately the time with Jim was cut short because in the autumn just before his tenth birthday, Jim passed away. It broke Rob and it’s not something he’s willing to talk about with just anyone. The man used to give him Christmas presents for heaven’s sake and treated him like a son. But it was just after the death of the man he wished he could have called ‘father’ that his mother explained the family curse to him. The women of the family weren’t allowed to love because of a curse. He hasn’t looked at his mother the same way since then because of what she had told him and he blames her for Jim’s death.

Hogwarts:
Hogwarts was Robert’s sanctuary. He loved the place from the moment he arrived and was thankfully sorted into the same house as Reginald. Things were pretty low key up until fourth year when both Reginald and Rob fell in love with the beauties that were the females of Hogwarts. Robert was still studious though, despite never really being in the castle. He took a special interest in the History of Magic and would often wander the castle looking for some of the older portraits. He was awful at Divination and somewhat average when it came to Herbology. Care of Magical Creatures, however, was a complete disaster – one that he never plans on reliving. Thankfully, in his third year, his Head of House allowed him to drop COMC because of the fear of his safety. Otherwise all of the other classes were fine really and he never stepped outside for a Care of Magical Creatures lesson again for fear of being attacked by birds or something.

In his fifth year, Rob got the following O.W.L’s

Shockingly enough Rob had received an ‘Outstanding’ in Potions which shocked him and went on to take Ancient Runes, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, History of Magic, Potions and Transfiguration for his N.E.W.T’s. Rob also took a few extracurricular lessons and tried Care of Magical Creatures again. However, after being attacked by a Hippogriff and sent to the Hospital Wing as a result then a month later he ended up being dragged underneath the lake by the Merpeople, his Head of House thought it best for him to drop the subject.

In his seventh year, Rob got the following N.E.W.T’s

Adulthood:
When Robert moved out of the Manor he bought a little London flat that he filled with all of his worldly possessions. He lived there for a while until he got a job at Hogwarts. It was there that he met Khaat Lupin and it was as good as love at first sight. The awful thing was that he had no intention of acting on his feelings. He believed that a woman like that would already have a husband or at least a lover but Rob was overjoyed to find out that he didn’t. He began teaching at Hogwarts after the Christmas and he and Khaat grew closer, forming a bond. It was during Christmas that Miseria Manson’s parents passed away and Khaat offered to take the girl to Romania to sort out inheritance and such. Rob offered to go with them and helped kills off some Death Eaters despite sleeping through the first attack – hangover.

Once they got back they dated for a while until things became fairly serious and grew closer than ever. But it was only after Khaat nearly blew herself up that Rob decided to make things serious. Unfortunately Khaat had been trying to destroy a dark amulet and Rob had been in the pub at the time. The ring that she had given him to warn him of any danger had gone emerald green and that meant that Khaat was in some serious danger. Rob Apparated to her and found her in a pretty bad state. He immediately Apparated back to the house in Hogsmeade where he Flooed her parents to come and fix their daughter. It was that day that he found out he would be a father and that their little fumble in Romania which he didn’t plan on mentioning to anyone, had produced something no one had expected. It was that day that Rob had also proposed to Khaat because he had decided he could not and would not live with the woman that had stolen his heart and was going to have his child.

It was about a month after that Rob found himself in a pub but instead of walking or Apparating home he chose to Floo back. Unfortunately, Rob muttered the wrong destination and ended up in Romania on the dragon reserve where they kept him until the guys there deemed him ‘ready’ to go home. It was there that Rob decided he wanted a dragon for a pet and that he wouldn’t put off marrying Khaat any longer. But during this he had no way of telling if Khaat was okay because shortly after he arrived a baby dragon swallowed his ring. Now it seems that everything is well considering that Rob is back but things could change drastically for both Rob and Khaat but Rob wants to look on the bright side of life instead of being a pessimist.
