Meeting the Maker

Danny fell onto the ground panting. The pain was unbearable. It was as if his muscles had been opened up once, closed, opened again, then closed with hot glue. It hurt just to be obvious. He looked at Matt and then shook his head "I don't think it's over yet," he said hearing chattering nearby

Ne'Os frowned "i cannot do anything to interfear....."he whisperd he looked at them but then through them Like the world around him no longer existed.

"Are they all stupid?" grunted James as he dodged the strike of a stray demon. He clapped his hands, and felt his alchemy work it's magic... until his arm erupted in pain. James swore, and whipped out his wand. He also out a piece of chalk, and quickly drew an alchemic circle. He planted his open palm in the center of the circle, and watched the transmutation occur. The matter transferred from the wall, and into, at first, a hilt, and then a blade. He cleaved the demon's head half-way through. It crumbled to dust around the blade. James gritted his teeth as more demons turned their eyes to him.


He swore again, but deftly swung the blade again, preparing to fight against the demons.

Danny leaned against the cave wall and then laid his head against the wall. Just another minute to relax. He looked at Matt and said "Well guess we keep moving," he said conjuring up a splint for his leg. He got up and tried to get a feel for both legs again. Finally he could walk normally. "Let;s go"

"Son of a-" James cleaved another demon, as he edged towards the blockade. He switched sword hands. Sure his alchemic arm was a bit messed up, but it was stronger. Plus, drawing circles on rocks was very difficult unless you used the more dextrous of hands. He made quick work of the blockade. It dissipated into the air as he created a simple tunnel.

Ne'Os walked out of the cave he wondered where the world ended. The demons attacked him they were taken down with a simple flick of Ne'Os's wand he floated up into the air above them. Ne'OS was searching for Death.
