Mariana took her star chart thankfully.She wasn;t the best at Astronomy,but she sure was better then on Potions.She looked at the night sky wondering how won't she lay down and just watch.She grabbed a telescope and started looking up in the sky.The brightest planet was Venus as usual.She noted it down and continued looking at Jupiter and Mars and Orion.There were so much things to see.

Daisy snapped out of it as soon as the Professor called her name. She daydreamed often, but luckily the sound of her own name (first or last) brought her back down to earth. She nodded in response to him, acknowledging she was with it. He was nice. Some teachers would tell you off for daydreaming, but he just stopped me. I think I'm going to like this class. She was curious as to what they were studying in the lesson, but didn't want to ask him.

Nick drifted into the classroom, not realizing that there was class going on. "Oh, I'm sorry Matthew. I didn't realize there was a class goin on!" He said gloomly. "I'll just be off I suppose...." He was about to exit when Matt motioned for him to stop.

Nick, come here for a moment! he said grinning. As Nick drifted over to Matt he looked at the students. Nick how much do you know about Astronomy? he asked. "Oh well, not to toot my own horn but..I actually know quite alot" he laughed. Well, tell you what...if I ever need someone to cover for me...will you teach the class for me? he asked. Nick nodded and Matt clapped his hands, Now off you go Nick!!

A ghost floating through the wall made Daisy pay attention. Then Nearly Headless Nick, the ghost for her own house, Gryffindor, started talking to the Professor. WHAT? I am being taught by a ghost instead of a teacher? I mean, Lestrange is being PAID to teach and now he's skiving? What is this? Daisy kept her thoughts to herself, of course, and just listened to what was going on between the two.

Alright, off to your telescopes people! Matt said turning back to the class. I want everyone to fill in a star chart as much as possible before class!!! he laughed.

Ami got up and walked over to her telescope and started filling out as much as the star chart as she could.

Daisy rose from her seat, star chart in hand, and made her way over towards her telescope. She took a quick look at the chart. Not too bad. I can already do a fair bit of it, at least. She got out her quill and ink and began to fill in what she already knew. Ok. So now to fill the rest of it out. Hopefully it's a clear night tonight. Daisy scanned the skies, filling in sections of her table as she went along. She spent the next five minutes or so just trying to fill the entire thing out.

Alright class, time is up! he said loudly. He looked at his watch, 5 minutes to 1:00am. Alright I want a 95 word essay on what you know about Astronomy on my desk by tomorrow!! Class dismissed..
