"Petrirficus Totalus!" Robert sent a powerful petrification spell to paralyze the creature she was morphing into. Healers brought magic proof chains, and Robert shackled both wrists and both ankles very quickly while the creature was still morphing into some creature Robert had not seen the likes of for a very long time. He had the wounded healers escorted out quickly. He had the creature restrained. "Well, well, come back for a rematch, have you? Well, if you recall, I won the last time, and I will again," Robert said, as healers held the creature at bay. Robert reached in Jessica's pocket and took the necklace. "Ah, so this is how you did it. Well, that's alright by me. I know your weaknesses all too well. " He turned to the healers, "Bring her."
He took her upstairs and put her in one of the magic proof cells in the psychiatric wing for the time being.. This would take time. He would have to separate the creature from her. Right now, though, he desperately needed to see if Khaat was alright. He left specific instructions with the healers that if all else failed, they were to take no chances. The chains should hold and so should the cell, Robert thought. But, if it did not, he had no choice but to order the killing curse be used on it. He didn't want to see that happen, but he also knew the creature knew Robert meant business.
He went back to Khaat immediately, pushing his way through the younger healers to get to her. He assessed her quickly. "Damnit!" he cursed. He began putting a potion together quickly from the potions in the treatment room. It was a rough potion, and would taste quite foul indeed. He would let her have all the french roast after this that she wanted if it worked. He regretted having to bring her conscious with a spell because he knew the excruciating pain she would be in. But he had no choice. He woke her with a strong jolt from his wand.
Khaat woke, crying out sharply in pain. "I know," Robert said softly, raising her head on his arm, "I know, Drink, Baby. Drink it. Its the only way." She obeyed, but the potion was the most disgusting, foul thing that had ever been in her mouth. Made her sick to her stomach instantly. "Breathe," he coached her slowly. "It will get better. Breathe. " "Let me die," she begged her father. "Not a chance," he said firmly. "Just wait a moment."
A moment later, relief began to set in, and she collapsed again in his arms. The younger healers were alarmed. Robert held them back, waving them off. "Relax," he said.softly, unable to take his eyes off Khaat. This had been much too close. "That was merely relief. She will recover now. " He began to check her thoroughly and to check Abbey. "Thank God!" he breathed softly. "Thank God. The baby's fine." The healers with him sighed a deep sigh of relief. "Get her a room on the trauma floor," Robert ordered, "And let me know the instant that Jack Black Heart arrives. Khaat may be out for hours, but let me know of the slightest change. Keep someone with her at all times. Do not leave her alone for an instant. Am I clear?" They nodded.
