The crunch of twigs underfoot was the aching reminder that in fact the Forbidden Forest was in fact forbidden and wasn't as pretty inside as it looked from the Ravenclaw Tower. This was a fact Dora had resigned her to accepting but she wasn't happy about it. She'd already been through enough for one day but it wasn't going to stop. It never did so why should she stop expecting the inevitable?
She'd been walking for what seemed like hours but in reality was probably only about half an hour - maybe three quarters. Her feet were aching but her muscles weren't as tense and she was more relaxed than before. However that wasn't particularly great because Dora was now lost. Curious isn't it that a Ravenclaw could be stupid enough to enter a forget that wasn't meant to be entered - hence the name.
But Dora wasn't one for her intelligence and often wondered how she ended up in Ravenclaw. She might of had enough brains to get herself out of situations like this but it wasn't as if she used them like other members of her house. It was school work for them. Dora was indifferent and preferred experience. That was something she could handle - something she was used to.
Sighing, Amadora sank down on a particularly moss-free log and dropped her head into her hands. She was lost and was probably not that far into the actual woods. But she didn't have any sense of general direction so how in the hell was she supposed to get out.. alive?
Death wasn't something Dora feared. Death of those she loved, yes, she feared that immensely. But her death would be the only thing she could look forward to in life. The inevitable. You're born, you get screwed over fifteen-hundred times and then you die. That's the only thing you can ever be sure of and Dora couldn't wait. She was even counting the days but she couldn't be sure when she would be offed because fate didn't work that way. Unfortunately.
The only thing she could be sure of now was that she was stuck in the woods alone. She was always banging on about wanting to be alone but now that she was, Dora wasn't sure she liked it one bit.
