Diagon Alley [Shackle ^w^]

Boring, thought Miseria when she walked trough empty streets, looking into the shop's windows and sometimes over the passing people, who gave a close look to her blue hair. Although, holydays were close, she was here only because of presents. Her parents, who she really didn't love or adore, were like a little kids. When they saw what Miseria sended to them with her white owl, they were really surprised and asked more stuff to buy.

She herself already had bought things for herself. Like few new books and moving statues. But what the hell should she buy for her parents? For her mother, who thinks that people can read her mind and her father, who's obsessed with his new wife? Miseria has seen her and although, in most stories daughters and sons hate one parent's new love, Miseria didn't. She was sweet and helpfull person. But even for her, she didn't have any ideas what to buy. She was muggleborn wizard who loved children.

OT: I had no ideas for this one. XD

Shacklebolt walked down the streets with his pockets full of gold which he had just taken from his vault. He was planning to go to weasleys wizard wheezes to get some funny looking stuff. As he turned around a corner and saw a girl with blue hair, he raised his eyebrows in surprise. Then he recognized her. "Hey you, you aren't from Hogwarts are you?" he asked sternly.

Miseria stoped and turned herself around. Then she sighed quietly. Great. "Yes. I am," she replied. Okay, was she in trouble now? Hopefully no because she didn't buy anything what was forbidden to children. Although, she find herself in a surprise as well. She didn't even think that someone from the Hogwarts staff would be here, at the Diagon Alley.

"Hmm, what is your name?" Shacklebolt asked. He knew her from Hogwarts, after all, not everyone had blue hair. "And what are you doing here?" Were student supposed to be here? Not really, so what was she doing? Mischief? Well he would see. Most students mainly just caused mischief and trouble, and she didn't look any different.

Miseria raised her eyebrows, being more surprised. She thought that the headmaster would know her name without asking it. "Miseria Manson," she said mostly in her blank voice. Although she was a little bit nervous, her face appeared to be numb enough to stay emotionless. "I want to buy presents for my family," she sighed quietly. God, she knew that it was too late but one thing she didn't know - why in the earth she went out so late?
"Is that a bad thing?" she asked, raising her eyebrows even higher.

"Ahh yes Miss Manson," Shacklebolt said, nodding wisely. He knew her now. "Presents for your family eh? Well..." he didn't believe her, he glared at her, trying to read her mind. She was up to trouble in his opinion. Shacklebolt raised his eyebrows as well. "No its not, but I really think you should show some respect to your elders Miss Manson," he said imperiously.

Miseria scowled when she felt this strange feeling. That reminded her mother who teacher her occlumensy. Making fast decisions, she made a barrier around her thoughts, feeling now safe again. Was her mother right? People really loved to read other's mind? That scared her a bit and made her act even carefully. She stared at him, hoping that he won't try to read her mind anymore, however, she was ready to make this barrier even stronger.
"Ah, respect," she said quietly and bowed before him. That was the way she showed respect for someone else. Who was older and perhaps even stronger than she was. "Sorry, sir. I was mostly impressed. I didn't realize that someone would be here at this time," she explained herself, although, she was sure that Shacklebolt didn't even care what she was thinking.

Shacklebolt wasn't really using leglimency, he was just seeing her expression to tell the truth. He concluded that she wasn't up to no good. How surprising! And pleasing too. She also seemed rather respectful, as she bowed to him. "Hmm, well I guess buying presents for your family is OK. I'm here to buy presents to! For myself of course," Shacklebolt said with a laugh. He had lost his family and friends a long time ago.

Miseria was really surprised. She thought that professor would bust her and take her as a trouble maker, however, she wasn't. Why needed she that kind of trouble? Besides, why should she make this? For taking points from her house, Hufflepuff? No. And it seemed that Shacklebolt liked when someone bowed before him. Of course. Every one loved when people respected them and Miseria was Loyal. Like every hufflepuff student supposed to be. "Oh. But why for yourself? Don't people give You presents, sir?" she asked, trying to put a smile on her pale face.

Shacklebolt wasn't exactly sure which house Manson was in, but it wasn't Slytherin. At first he had thought that, but now... Manson seemed too polite and respectful to be in Slytherin. "Not really," Shacklebolt said, a little sadly. "Who would send me presents after all? Students?" Shacklebolt laughed, they just sent him presnets they thought funny. Like a poisonous plant for example.
