Miseria didn't know what Shacklebolt was thinking, but almost everyone thought that she was in Slytherin. It was maybe because of her hair or style? But it seemed that Shacklebolt liked when she bowed before him and started talking in a silky tone. "Students may send you presents, yes," she said. Christmas was a gift giving time. Why people shouldn't give some presents to him? Or some hogwarts staff?

"Yeah right,' Shacklebolt said with a roll of his eyes. "Last time, students sent me bubotuber pus, which burnt my hands, and the year after that, they sent me cockroach clusters, so I don't expect any good presents this year,' he explained. "So I got some for myself!" he added triumphantly.

Miseria raised her eyebrow, trying to hold her laugh back. Those gifts... Why didn't she came on them? That could be funny when she'd send this bubotuber pus to her father! "And why they are sending you such gifts?" she asked. People, mostly students are saying that Shacklebolt was mean old man.

Shacklebolt shrugged, he didn't understand how students could hate him so much. After all, he was not a bad headmaster! All he had done was give many detentions to people for small mistakes, but teachers were supposed to be strict. "I don't know, I guess those students were just troublemakers," he said. Like Danny Thompson, biggest troublemaker.

Miseria shrugged as well. That was the first time when she had talked to Shacklebolt and right now, she couldn't understand why students hated him that much. She wasn't that kind of a troublemaker. Although, that was one of her plans. To become one. But naah, Hufflepuff was that kind of house what didn't need any troubles. "And teachers? They think that you're bad headmaster, too?" she asked. That was odd.

"Eh, they give the occasional present," Shacklebolt said shrugging. They did, but it the presents he received weren't exactly great, the other teachers never really respected him enough.

She had to raise her eyebrows again. Even staff's surprised her. Didn't they respect their own headmaster? “Eeh, I can buy you a present?“ That wasn't a question. It was more like offering him it. Since it was christmas and mostly the present giving time, she didn't hold herself back when she was buying presents. Though, she didn't even know what Shacklebolt would like to have or did he trust her as giving presents. Maybe he thought that she will give him strangeling plant like the others did?
