What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Danny walked down the trail that led through a sprialing forest. He smiled as he casually strolled nonchalantly and whistled a tune in a soft voice. He went along still and then saw a ruined campsite. The hell? Danny thought. He quickly went over and examined the ruins. As he examined everyone, he found 2 dead bodies. One had been ripped apart and one looked like he had commited suicide by cyanide. Weird. In the pockets of one of the dead bodies, he found a note. It was highly unitelligible yet it had a picture of a waterfall. What...the...F*** Danny thought

Artemis cursed. She had just missed another target. She had her hair pulled back into a ponytail so it would not get caught in her arrow. She paused to load her bow again, but heard something. A shrill whistle pierced her ears, making her cringe. Even if it was low, her ears were sensitive to whistling. She set down her bow and took off her finger guard. She was going to put a stop to this horrible noise. As it turned out, it was a boy at about the age of sixteen or seventeen. He had found some ruins Artemis had just discovered herself.

Danny had heard something odd. The wildlife had stopped making noises. That was never a good sign. He quickly stuff the parchment into his jacket pocket and quickly tried to blend into the forest. When he thought he was safe, he used his spell that allowed him to use thermal vision from his eyes. He couldn't make it out enitrely, but there was a person stalking in the forest. Even more weird.

If she had not seen it with her own eyes, she would never have believed it. This boy had just melted into the woods, but was still be there. She racked her brain for a spell that might cause him to appear again, but nothing came up. But Artemis did know that very same spell. She smiled, and melted into the forest, dissapearing just as the boy had.

Danny had almost lost sight of the person. Te other animals of te forest were getting in his way. And he couldn't go up in the tree because he eyes would flash like a flare. He had to try something. He walked slowly through the forest and started to make noise. He hoped this would work

Artemis was confused. Was this guy asking to be attacked by something?! By the looks and soun of everything, he was. Well, she decided to follow him. See what he was doing. But she kept her distance, hoping he was not leading her to some invisible cliff or something dangerous like that(well, you can never be too careful).

Danny quickly started making more noise. He kicked some more leaves over and then did something clever. He used one of the strings from survival kit he had on his belt. He then proceded to tie it around a tree, then area some leaves. He casted the breaking spell on the tree yet made sure it didn't make a sound. After the deed was done, he made a trip wire that would tumble the tree when someone stepped on it.

Artemis suspected something, but could not put her finger on it right now. She never did realize that she was 7 steps from the wire. 6...5...4...3...2...1... She stopped an inch from the wire. She had lost sight of the boy. Artemis frowned, and took a step. She was instantly on the ground, the tree starting to fall. At once, she rolled to the side, narrowly missing the tree. Cursing, she stood up, and favoured her injured ankle.

Danny quickly jumped from cover and then landed on the person. He held his survival knife backwards and up to her throat. "Who are you?" he said in a barking order tone with the knife right in her throat

Artemis felt something jump on her, and then she was on the ground. She would have pushed the boy off, but her ankle was a little to painful right now. "Me? I'm a woman who just got tackled by a boy. Now, if you would, GET OFF ME!" She reached into her pocket. She knew her wand was in one of them...
