Troublemakers

"I dunno," he said calmly ow pacing back and forth "it may come down to either things." He knew he was crazy for doing this, yet it was his only way of getting out of this mess. Besides it would be good practice. He quickly ran to his left and sprinted along the way. He jumped off some parts and rolled on certain jumps yet he ran very fast at least 8 miles per hour. He knew learning parkour[sp?] would be helpful.

Shacklebolt growled, how stupid of the child, he would have to stay at the castle anyways. How could he think he could escape punishment? Shacklebolt floated, and followed Danny at a slower pace. However, he continuosly shot spells at him, slowing down spells, hoping at least one would hit.

Danny knew it'd be a matter of time before he'd get caught. But at this moment, he needed to buy Topher some time to wake up and get away. He got hit once on the leg by one of the spells and nearly fell off the building. He ran faster and made it to a point where there was no where else to run. There was only a river down below. He looked back at Shacklebolt and then made a quick decision. He leapt forward almost in a dive and fell down at quick speeds. He then tried to dive awkwardly into the water and collided with it. He would've drowned if he hadn't held his breath at the start of his fall. He remained underwater as he tried to swim away undetected knowing he couldn't stun him underwater.

Luckily for Thompson, they were only on the second floor roof, or else that dive could have killed him. Anyways, it wasn't lucky for Shacklebolt, who could have made the whole thing look like a suicide had Danny died, instead, he survived. Shame. Shacklebolt floated down and landed next to the LAKE(there isnt a river at hogwarts), he would catch this boy even if it took several hours.

Danny swam around for a while now and hopefully thought that Shack was gone. Yet he wasnt. Persistent Danny thought grimly. He swam slowly and used his thermal vision spell to make sure he had a fixture on his location.He wouldnt budge.

Danny had to come back to surface to breathe soon. When he did Shacklebolt would stun him, then save him from drowning. After, Danny would be in detention for the rest of the year.

Danny swam around slowly still keeping on eye on Shacklebolt. He could feel the adrenaline rushing through nearly giving him a headache. He couldn't think on what to do. It was either give himself up or try to find another way out. What did it matter anyway? He knew that if he tried to run, he'd get stunned because Shacklebolt had no soul. And if he gave himself up...he'd probably still stun him. Shacklebolt was just too strong for danny. HAHAHAHAHAHA! Danny laughed inside his head showing a large smile on his face. He figured if he was going to get detention, he might as well go out in style. Danny swam to the shore and kept his wand clutched in his hand. "Alright Shack," Danny said almost angrily "how about a deal?"

[kidding. Btw, nice that you admitted I'm stronger than you. I remember the battle of Hogwarts >< Student death eaters, godmoding me around...]

"SHACK?!" Shacklebolt repeated, his eyes bulging. What ignorance! Disbehavior! He made his way over to Danny. "Learn some manners thompson! Try to show some respect! Without me, you wouldn't be in this world!" Well, that was a bit of an exaggeration, but perhaps he wouldn't be. "What deal though?"

"A duel," he said calmly. He hoped this would work "If i win, I'm off the hook. If YOU win, I become your assistant for the rest of the year." It was better than serving detention. besides it would help brush up his skills. And a better way to show his own skills. "Better than having me sit around in some room all day. I could help organize things and such. It'd be more a loss than a gain putting me in detention."
