Death Eater Plot Idea

The Death Eaters are an elite group of people. Obviously there are many "dark" wizards and witches, who support our aims, but not every dark witch or wizard is a Death Eater.

With that thought in mind, I've always been in favour of characters proving their worth, or going through an initiation ceremony, not to mention that it will give us all a chance to get to know each other's characters personalities better.

So, what does everyone think about an initiation ceremony? Would you like to have one for your character? If your character is an oldbie and already well established as a Death Eater, would you like to take part in the initiation of another character? Do you have any ideas of what a death eater initiation ceremony should be like? Should the character have to prove their usefulness and loyalty to us first (obviously that would happen "off stage", so to speak))?

In other words, discuss.
