"Wait!" she called after him but he had already left. "Don't...go." she said dropping her hand. She sighed she didn't want to go home. She hadn't seen him in a while and had wanted to see him. She ran off into the dark woods looking for him.

Varod saw Christy running towards him.
Turning and smiling, he opened his arms to hug her, then stopped cold. Looking slightly to the right, he saw a mountain lion charging at Christy.
He ran forward, tackling in, taking it unaware and bashing it's brains in.
"O...kay," he said, hugging Christy.

Christy heard a growl and turned around to see the mountain lion at her right as Varod charged after it and screamed out of shock. She was shaking even more as he pulled her into his arms grateful the creature didn't get a hold of her. "Whe..." she said trailing off her voice shaky.

"See? You would have died just then," Varod said, kissing her hard. "You get scared?" he teased, holding her tight.
He had been scared as well-for her safety, not his.

"A little." she said looking at him. She could have killed it easily with her wand or a dagger she was just more concerned of getting mauled by the thing than anything else. "I could have killed it." she muttered looking at him.

"Yeah, but you could have been seriously hurt," Varod said shivering from the cold and hugged her tightly for warmth. "Anyway, what did you need?" he asked, kissed her cheek lightly.

"I just didn't want to leave you just now." she replied looking at him. "It just seems weird you just walking off and leaving me alone like that...I...I didn't like it."

Varod nodded.
"I'm sorry," Varod told her, stroking her hair as he held her close. "I'm here now, though."
Pulling her into a kiss, he put one hand in her hair and the other on her back.
"Don't worry about me, I can handle myself."

"But how can I not?" she asked looking at him, "Its kinda my fault they'll be after you." she said quietly. She had wished he wouldn't have been turned but since he had she now wished he would just kill himself since it would be far better than what would happen if Godric gotten a hold of him. She returned the kiss weakly. She felt disgusted with herself for what had happened. And what she knew would happen.

"Wait...does he know where I live?!" Varod asked sharply. His best bet if her cousin knew where he lived would be James...and that was a very tight line between trust and no, seeing as they only met for a short time.
