Aden was indeed surprised by the riddle the professor had posed, but none the less he would answer. first though Aden needed to know the facts of the scenario. "Well Sir my guess is it would depend on if there is a law that requires all the men to shave?" Because if there wasn't the The man would not shave probably.

"Well then sir the Barber is a Female, so she needs no shaving" Aden said only semi confident that was indeed the answer, of course given the information he had it is logical to deduce that she could be a woman.

"Well sir the Barber doesn't live in the town thus he doesn't have to live by thier rules" Aden retorted a bit frustrated (I have heard one like this but you phrased it way different so i don't think it is the same Riddle.
