Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Ollivander's Wand Shop Ollivander9nq

You walk up to a shop with peeling gold letters over the door which says

"Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 BC."

A single wand sits in the window on a faded purple cushion in the dusty window. You enter the dark building. A spindly chair and large piles of boxes, that touch the ceiling, are the only things in the small dark room.

"Hello," said a soft voice. An old man is standing in front of you, with
bright eyed.
"Hello," you say nevously.
"Well I surppose your here for your first wand. Hogwarts?"
"Yes," you reply.
"Well we better get started then, because I'm meeting Mr Dumbledore in
20 minutes," said Mr Ollivander. "Which is your wand arm?"
You hold out an arm. Mr Ollivander takes out a long tape measure from
his pocket placed it on your arm and it started measuring parts of your
body by itself.
"Every wand has a powerful magical core in it. Here in Ollivanders we use phoenix tail feathers, unicorn hairs and heartstrings of dragons. Right thats enough," said Mr Ollivander and the tape measure fell to the floor.

"Now it is the time for you to choose your wand. Well, in truth, it's the wand that chooses the wizard, really."

A wand will cost you 20 Galleons

Dae, this is different site, and the idea of the quiz is to make sure that not everyone have 11" Holly Phoenix feather wand. Your wand is good as it is, however if you are not satisfied and really feel that you want to stick with Phoenix feather core, you can request for a core switch.

However I will make this very clear to everyone, I will only allow a very limited amount of request and for a good reason too. If there are too many lets say phoenix feather wand, I will not allow a switch. If you would like to switch your 'wand core' OR 'wood', copy out this form and fill it out.
____________________________________________________________
Wand modification request:

Name:

Description of current wand:

What part of the wand would you like to change:

Reason why you would like to modify your wand:

____________________________________________________________

IF your request is granted,

A new core will cost you 2 Galleons
A new wood will cost you 3 Galleons

Otherwise no charge will be applied

Edit: I have given a wider selection range for wood. Check it out on the quiz
