ACCIO BRAIN!
Welcome to Potter’s Army

Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

I've just joined this totally awesome Potter-era site! It's called ACCIO BRAIN! and members are needed!

ACCIO BRAIN! Bellatrix-Taunts-Harry

Harry James Potter never could live a normal life.
Not after Lord Voldemort decided to go after his family. This is how Harry
became famous. He is the only known person to ever survive the killing curse.
Some thought Voldemort died that night, some thought he was lurking in the
shadows trying to build his strength back up...but no one thought he would
ever truly return.

At age eleven Harry met a giant named Hagrid. He was the one to open Harry's
eyes to the world of Witches and Wizards. Harry set off to Hogwarts meeting
his best friends Ron and Hermione on the way. That year Harry learned that
Voldemort lived and would do anything to finish the job he started a decade
ago.

Nowadays Harry is in his sixth year and things have not been easy for him.
Finally people believe that Voldemort has returned but now Harry has to deal
with being the chosen one. Dumbledore is teaching Harry things about the
young Tom Riddle that will help him defeat Voldemort. Love is in the air at
Hogwarts, and some are willing to slip some love potions for it! But behind all
the fun and newly sprung feelings there is something dark brewing at Hogwarts.[/align]

ACCIO BRAIN! Empty Re: ACCIO BRAIN!

I already tried to join but they denied me. Pffft, some site that is! I've never been to an RP site and be rejected/denied, and that's not very good for their site, specially if they need members and that person who was denied tells people not to waste their time for that site.

First of all, I'm very sorry you were rejected, but since I'm not an admin I can't say why that happened. I can say that it's a good site and that it's nice that you tried to join. However, I think that when you were rejected, the admins expected you to grant them the common courtesy of allowing others to give the site a chance. I've been rejected on one site and although I was angry about it initially if someone else wanted to join it I wouldn't stop them or badmouth the site because it could be that what wasn't good for me is good for them. We can't all get accepted into every single site we apply for, and sometimes you/you're RP style is just not right for a site. I know from experience. I understand that being rejected was probably a blow to your pride and it leaves you feeling slightly offended but that's no reason to discourage people from applying. All sites are in need of members and the phrase 'beggars can't be choosers' doesn't apply to every site out there. Just because a site rejected someone doesn't mean it's totally exclusive.
