She is very protective of her friends and will defend then if she deems it necessary. She is very loyal to those she trusts, it does take time to earn her trust however. All round she is a good friend and fairly nice person, with a bit of spark.

Family Information: Jaylin is a only child, her Mother is a pureblood witch from Ireland, and her father is Muggle born from Canada. Her Mother and Father split when she was 9 and she now lives with her mother and her Uncle in London.
Background: Jaylin came to Hogwarts already knowing the fundamentals of magic from her mother, she was initially quite shy when she started not really talking unless some one spoke to her. Then in her 2nd year she became more friendly all of a sudden and has been every since. She never talks about her life at home, if asked directly she will avoid the question all together.
Short Roleplay: Jay entered the common room and smiled, she put her book back on a table and began to read through her Potions notes. She had a test the next day and a firend of her's a had had kept her busy all day with quidditch practice and she just managed to slip away so she could have a hope of passing the exam the next day.
The things she did for her firends... she thought with a laugh.
Then her owl, named Kiara flew up to her.
"Did you deliver the letter to him Girl?" she asked as she rubbed Kiara's soft feathery head and got her an owl treat.
