Girl's Dormitories

Lillian climbed up the round stairs and finished in girl's dorm.She put her school bag next to her bed and layed down to rest her feet.She looked at her family picture.It was her first years without seing parents for whole year and she missed them a bit.She took her diary from the cupboard next to her bed and started writing things that had no sense.

Alice walked into her dorm room and saw someone there already. She was exhausted after a long day's hard work. She had spent the last hour at Hagrid's and was happy to meet the dog he spoke a lot about. His name was Fang. Alice walked toward her four-poster bed. She sat down and took out an album. It was her baby photos.

Alice flipped through the pages one by one. She loved to look back on her baby days, even though she could barely remember them. She finished flipping through the pages and closed the album. Alice sighed and wondered,[i]how I wish to see my mother again[i]. She wanted to see Professor Delacour, her mother, but didn't know what her hours were.

Alice put the album away and closed her eyes. She took a small nap and soon it was dinner time. Alice didn't want to go to dinner but she knew that her stomach was grumbling. So she got up and walked to the Great Hall.

After dinner, Alice walked back to her dorm room. The girl was there again, and Alice wondered if she ever left for dinner.

Alice said, "Hello, my name is Alice Delacour. I'm a first year. You are?"

Alice wanted to make friends, as she lacked friendships. Alice waited until the girl acknowledged her.

Tara walked into the girls dormatary smilling to herself. Tara did not feel like talking so she sat down on her bed and pulled out her book to read

Alice heard the door open and in came a Gryffindor girl. She sat on her bed and took out out a book. Alice waited till the new girl finished the page, then she said, "Hello, I'm Alice. I'm a first year. You are?" Alice looked at the girl and waited till the girl put down her book.

Tara looked up from her book. Tara smiled and said "Nice to meet you Im Tara shay and yea Im a first year." Tara smiled but wished she could magicly make her thick Irish accent go away but Tara knew that, that would never happen she would always have her irish accent no matter what

Alice nodded and said, "So, what book are you reading, it looks interesting from here?"

Alice got up from her bed and walked over to Tara's bed. Alice stood, a little nervously, and raised her hand to her red hair. It was long and in a ponytail. It was sleek and shiny as well. Alice was proud of her half-veela heritage and couldn't wait to get started on classes.

Tara smilled she moved over so Alice could sit down next to her. Tara looked down at the old book and said "They are old muggle fairy tails written in german. I got it when I was 5" Tara looked down at her book. She loved her book even the fack that she had been reading them since she was five did not make her love them any less than the day she got them from her nana

Alice sat down at the space provided. She looked at Tara and said, "How interesting![b]" I can't read German. Are you German? I am part-veela, my mom, Professor Delacour, is part-veela. And my aunt, Fleur, is also part- veela. So is my grandma." Alice sighed and waited for Tara to respond to her talking. I wonder if she'll be my friend? Alice also said,"Will you be my friend, Tara?"

Tara smiled and said happily "of course Ill be your friend Alice." Tara smiled and then added. " Im not german im Irish. I lived there untill last year when we moved. I school we had to learn german and english. I got this book from my nana right befor I begain reading in german." Tara smilled at alice. She now had two friends. Ana and Alice. Maybe this school was not to bad after all.

"Cool." Alice said. Then she laughed. "What school did you go to? I had to learn French, even though I am French."

Alice had a friend, Tara, and she was happy. She had longed for a friend for a long time. Her old friends had moved away and she missed them dearly. She sighed happily.

"Thanks, Tara, for being my friend." Alice got up and stretched. Then, she walked to her bed and moved her bedsheets over and slid under them. "Well, good night, Tara. It was nice meeting you."
