Nick had been looking forward to this all summer, the start of the Quidditch season. After he wolfed down some breakfast he headed down to the pitch alone and void of supporters. He trudged across the ground’s his Slytherin Robes folded over his left arm and his broom held in his right. He hoped slightly that there wasn’t going to be any unwelcome rain, the sky above Hogwarts was a dangerous grey and Nick just knew that something bad always happened when he was around. Nick had flown perfect at the trials he really was a great chaser and a natural flyer. He was a bit flashy though and this was his big weakness, he had always been a sucker for the tricks and skills, sometimes he cared more about looking good than scoring. Nick, although he would never admit it, was also a little bit of a cheat, more than once in his career he had been reprimanded by referee’s for some rather brutal tackles on the other teams players. He was passionate though, and that was something the Slytherin team had been lacking lately.
It took little more than a few minutes to get to the Quidditch pitch, which Nick was pleased to see was about a quarter full of Slytherin students sitting quietly in the stands, waiting to see how this years team performed on their first practice. Nick headed into the changing room’s where he placed his broomstick on the bench. Once his hand’s were free he pulled off his school uniform and put on his Slytherin Quidditch Robes. Nick wasn’t nervous, he had been through the drill in his third and fourth year and enjoyed it. He stepped out on to the pitch and headed towards the team already assembled on the grass. Aminia, of course and Hafiz. Nick knew Hafiz pretty well, and Aminia was nice enough so he approached confidently he smiled then spoke “Right guy’s, you all looking forward too it?”
