Arriving at Malfoy Manor
For those of you not in the know, Malfoy Manor is located on a large parkland in Wiltshire. The entrance to the property can be found by turning off a narrow laneway... or can it?
Currently the Manor is shielded by a great variety of protective spells. Of course, it has been unplottable for centuries; we wouldn't want just any scum believing they could pay a visit. Recently, however, it was also placed under the Fidelus Charm, as I do not wish for that blood-sucking traitor to turn up on my doorstep unannounced. Unfortunately, this also means that any of our friends who want to drop by for drinks will be obliged to obtain an invitation from my dear wife.
((Narcissa is currently a non-player character. Feel free to role play that your character received an invitation))
Assuming you succeed in that mission, at the end of the lane you will find your way blocked by two large wrought iron gates, bordered on both sides by equally tall yew hedges. Attempting to climb over should not even be considered. There are no locks on the gates; or at least none that can be opened by any key.
Past the gates, the drive runs straight up to the house. There is a fountain in the courtyard and albino peacocks roam the grounds. The door will be answered by the house elf, Topsy, who will escort you inside.
Staying at Malfoy Manor
There always has plenty of room if, as so often is the case, you find yourself in an unfit state to apparate home or simply don't want to wake the family with your late arrival.
The bedrooms on the first floor are currently in use by my immediate family, however there are guest bedrooms on the second floor that anyone is welcome use. I simply ask that boys and girls keep to seperate rooms. After all, there are children in the house.
